All Right, we have found a new product we can stand behind: the Unique Article Wizard makes live for s article marketers much easier!

What does Unique Article Wizard do? Well, it is essentially a tool, that automatically distributes your articles to many hundreds of article directories and individual blog-sites and thereby does three things for you:

  • Unique Article Wizard creates backlinks to your blog or money site or linkwheel (where-ever you determine), thereby allowing your site to become much more popular with the search engines
  • By distributing your articles to these sites, you receive a number of direct traffic from readers of your articles. These readers may add your blog as an RSS feed and receive your content now regularly. Others may place your content on their own website, adding yet another backlink to your site.
  • It automates the process for you in many ways: automatic registration with the directories, automatic submission of your articles to the directories, automatic tracking of the success, automatic resubmitting failed submissions, and much more.

As an article marketer you used to have to submit your articles to thoses sites individually – first registering and then getting approved, etc., then sending each article to all those directories. Later there were automated article submitter software packages (they are still being sold to many marketers). Unfortunately, these packages almost never worked (and still don’t), because you have to deal with captchas and many submissions would not go through. After submitting a few times, you would get banned for spamming them and would have to re-register, it was a nightmare.

With Unique Article Wizad you simply create 3 versions of one article (not spun version, but 3 paraphrased versions, as in rewrittn paragraphs). That takes clearly more time than just spinning an article (although not much more), but then the beauty begins. The Unique Article Wizard does the rest for you. They create – and I have really no idea how exactly (I still think there is a human behind it all and does a lot of the work) – they create several hundred to more than a thousand completely unique versions of your article from these 3 versions you have provided them.

And all this spinning and recombining the articles happens in the background, you have absolutely nothing to do with it! The Unique Article Wizard service then submits these unique article versions and posts them for you in the various article directories and blogs.

You get to also provide spun autor boxes (that is where you sell your product and link to your site, etc.). You can have Unique Article Wizard automatically change the linktext (of the link pointing to your site) and thereby add to the value of those inbound links to your site.

If you want you can drop-feed the submission to the article directories (say you want to submit only to 20 or 50 directories each day). The article submission service will take that job of your hands, as well and automatically sumbit to the number of directories specified.

Because you indicate the keywords and phrases and categories your article belongs to, Unique Article Wizard is in a possition to submit your articles to only those directories that are relevant to the content of your article. That benefits both you (because you get only links from relevant websites) and the blog or directory owner, because he receives content that is relevant to his blog.

So all in all, I think the package is really well thought out and Worth It!

Talking about the worth, the Unique Article Wizard charges a pretty hefty $67 per month, which at first sight is a lot of money for mosts of us. However, I have to admit that the worth that comes from the service and the backlinks that push my website to the top of Google and the other search engines far outweighs the cost. Just imagine how many affiliate products you can sell with all the traffic you get once you are up the Google-ladder…

Update (June 11, 2011)

The affiliate program. Unique Article Wizard does allow you to market their product, and you get a 40% commission for sales originating from you. Currently I am in dispute with them, because I happen to run a publicly registered company and I am active as blogger personally. Unique Article Wizard does not allow for you to market to yourself (to give you a discount), which is understandable, however, in my case, the company and I we are two legally separate entities. So now they won’t allow the company selling to me privately as an affiliate sale, which in my opinion would be pretty petty

Article Spinning is the subject.

What is Article Spinning About?

You know you need to place unique content in your blog, in articles that you post to article directories, really just about anywhere. So assume you want ot submit an article about your product to several article directories, do you then rewrite your article several times?

Or assume you want to submit that article to 500 directories and a few hundred blogs that gladly will take your content and poste it just to get content. Do you write your article several hundred times?

I don’t believe so, but you should if you want to make sure that the search engines actually credit you for the content.

If you place a link in the article that leads back to your website, to your blog that you want to promote and possibly make money from, then that article needs to be accepted by the search engine as an article of value, and that can only happen these days if the article is unique.

So, in orther words, you need to submit unique articles to all several hundred  directories!!

But nobody can handle that so you need a tool. Article spinners allow you to replace parts of the text with rewritten parts. It allows you to use synonyms, rephrase sentences and rewrite entire articles. Once you are done making all the replacements, it is the combination of variations (the spun articles)  that make the new versions pseudo unique, unique enough at least, that the search engines – for the time being – accept that content as unique.

By doing so, they index your articles in the article directories and count the backlink you are creating by linking back to your blog or money site as a valid backlink.

You may or may not know that the number and quality of these backlinks is very important when determining pagerank of particular webpage. So the more quality backlinks you get, the more value the search engines assign to that page. The more valuable a page the higher it will appear in search results.

So, in essence, everyone who is serious about article marketing needs two things:

  1. a very good quality article spinner. We recommend the “Best Spinner
  2. and a very good quality article submission tool (we will talk about article submitters in another blog). But let me recommend what I consider the best solution for article submitting here, as well: Unique Article Wizard

Websites or blogs that are built on one distinct topic mostly with the intention to make an income are niche sites. A website about “Pets” is a general website, a site about “Dogs” is a specialized website, a site about “German Shepherd Dogs” is a niche site, and a website about “Dog Barking Advice” is a micro-niche site.

Having an idea of what item to advertise is the first step. Ideas can be found on the Internet browsing topics in search engines or directories, browsing merchants in affiliate networks, or taking note of potential niche seen in the magazines of the Mall’s bookstore and newspaper stand. Google Product Search is also a good way to see products that were searched, and consequently in demand.

It is then necessary to research what keywords and long-tailed keywords are bringing monthly traffic in Google and the level of competition. If a keyword has no or little competition and 3,000 monthly searches in Google, it is an indication that it will be easier to rank first on the first page of the search engines.

Hundred of thousands of web searches usually suggest a lot of competition.

A few searches indicates that the website has little traffic sent by search engines, while lots of competition translate with more work to do to obtain a good rank and win the competition. Keyword analysis is a major task that can be done with a range of free Internet tools.

In addition of using these free tools that are time consuming and not really fun, one may use an affordable paid software that simplifies the process and works fast in identifying all the needed data for each keyword targeted. An opportunity to do well with a niche is shown more clearly and gold mines may be found.

After the research is done, it is time to register a domain name containing that particular keyword or phrase, it could be DogTrainingAdvice or DogFoodRecipes with a .com, .net or .org extension. If the keyword is already taken for these domains, the word “Top”, “Good” or “Bad” can be added at the beginning. The word “Review” or “Tips” may be added at the end, as it is seen fit.

The website in itself can be made using an HTML template and adding content, articles and photos, or a WordPress blog. It is necessary to have content related to the topic and with the keywords targeted in order to rank in search engines. Then, product links can be added in order to make sales and earn an income.

For the purpose of ranking well and as a result make sales, it is unavoidable to do some SEO work and advertise the site with article marketing, bookmarking, video marketing, or other methods. Niche marketers generally have a profusion of niche sites on various topics in order to make money online.

Starting an online business involves a lot of planning and preparation and one of the things that should be included in your plan is how you are going to establish your business as a brand.

The brand you establish for your online business will be your identity to the online community and the one aspect that makes you stand out from other businesses that are similar.

Branding your online business involves planning your approach from the very beginning when you plan the other elements of your business.  Here are a few tips on how to establish your brand and why it is important to the success of your online business.

Come Up with a Logo

In addition to creating a name for your business that is easy to remember come up with a logo that will help people to identify your business brand.  As you promote your online business people will begin to identify with the logo and immediately recognize your product or service.  People tend to remember visual images so a logo certainly helps when it comes to getting your prospects to recognize you.

Start Creating a Buzz

Just like in the offline world word of mouth advertising goes a long way on the Internet and especially with all of the social networking tools that are readily available online.  Start creating a buzz about your brand by creating and distributing high quality information that is useful and adds value to the lives of others.

Tweet Your Brand:  Use your professional profile with Twitter to tweet high quality information that is related to your area of expertise.  Develop a list of followers that will start associating your brand with quality.  If you are consistent with quality your followers will begin telling others about you.

Network Your Brand:  Offer high quality information on social networking sites such as Facebook and social bookmarking sites such as Digg.  Take an interest in others in the community in addition to offering your own information.  Use your brand name whenever possible and help others with solutions to problems.  If you do this on a consistent basis people will start buzzing about your brand and you will be associated with offering quality.

Brand Your Videos: Create informational or instructional “how to”

videos on sites like YouTube.  When you make your video, design it in a way that reflects your brand and then offer high quality information that helps other solve a problem.  Brand the video and create a link to your site. If your video is useful others will pass it along to their friends and people will start buzzing about it.

Advertise Your Brand:  Create press releases about your new business and your brand and use viral marketing tools such as Squidoo to distribute your announcements and information throughout the Internet.  Make sure your brand is clearly defined in your advertisements and any information you distribute on the Internet.

Guest Write:  Offer to write articles for other blogs and newsletters and place your brand in your signature.  Make sure the information you offer is high quality and relevant to the topic of the blog or newsletter.  Offer to do something in return for the author of the blog or newsletter such as writing a testimonial about their product.

These are a few ways to establish your brand online and start creating a buzz about your product or service.  As you can see, if people identify your brand with quality your business will be easily recognized and you will build many long term relationships with clients in the years to come.

Marketing is the presentation of your business services through various means and channels and making it desirable.  It consists of producing effective copy writing, creative websites, great tv advertisements etc, showcasing the products or services that you have to offer.

In order to reap in constant sales, you need to market your business.  In an online business, marketing can be as high as 90%

of your effort.   This can be in the form of PPC advertising,

article writing, banner ads, link exchanges, seo optimization, blogging, forum posting and the list goes on.  Until such time that people start to notice of your existence in the search engines, you will need to keep on with your marketing efforts.

A great tool that many successful marketers use is the harvesting of email addresses from potential customers – that is people who have shown an interest in your initial offer by submitting their names and emails from your landing page to get more information.

Why this form of marketing is effective is because the clients are pre-qualified.  Building an email list should be one of your top priorities in building your business.

In the fast changing world of online businesses, new techniques are introduced frequently that proved effective as well.  Blogs are now a popular means of marketing a business.  Business owners who keep blogs and update content frequently build loyal followings that grow each day.  There are blogs that pull in as much as 100,000 views a month because of great content.  Imagine having a banner on such a blog that converts 1% of readers into buyers.  That would be 1,000 sales a month.

Social bookmarking has also become the latest craze for advertisers to showcase their businesses and the potential for growth is huge.

With millions of people interacting on such portals as Facebook and Twitter 24/7, you just can’t ignore their presence.  You can create banner ads on Facebook or create a profile of your business and interact with people who share the same interests, and creatively market to them.

There are employees dedicated to conduct online marketing in big businesses as they can be very time consuming.  If you are a start-up or a one man business entity, then consider hiring virtual assistants (VA) to assist you in this area.  You will be surprised at the competency and productivity of VAs in countries such as India and the Philippines and how they can help you achieve your business objectives.

When redesigning the www.computerarticles.co.uk website this week, I came across a far simpler way of doing so rather than creating a whole new interface. You can use free blogging software to create a blog website. WordPress allows you to create such a website. A blog is a website maintained by an individual or company where a series of regular entries are made relating to a specific subject matter, such as a personal diary or an opinions page.

I have covered another free website called blogger.com but have been suitably impressed with WordPress to feel that it also deserves a mention. In much the same fashion as Blogger, WordPress allows you to either host your blog on their website or install the open source code on to your own web server; the latter does of course require a small amount of knowledge relating to uploading files to a web server, or the desire to learn. Going down the route of installing the software yourself is a little trickier although it does allow you to have your own domain name along with complete control over the way things function. Typically, a blog hosted on your own server will also look more professional than if it is hosted as part of the main WordPress site.

Once you have downloaded the installation package from www.wordpress.com and uploaded it to your server, you simply run the configuration file and WordPress will set itself up and present you with the default template which can then be changed to one of your choosing. From the admin section you can begin changing the way your blog site looks and the way that it functions without having to edit any code whatsoever but by simply using the inbuilt tools. For more advanced changes you can choose to use any of the several thousand free of charge plug-ins created by the community; these plug-ins allow you to change any part of your blog site from integrating a photo album to making it search engine friendly.

When it comes to actually adding content to your site, you can import from another source if you have previously hosted a blog or alternatively you can simply start typing and copying and pasting in to a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor. Any articles that you produce and tag will automatically be published so that when other users search for a matching subject they will have the opportunity to visit your page; this kind of exposure can be invaluable if you are writing a blog relevant to your business as a marketing exercise to drive more traffic to your website.

If you choose to allow visitors to comment on your articles then you will be glad to hear that WordPress employs a sophisticated anti-spam system so that your blog won’t quickly become a playground for automated comments relating to sexual health products and fake Rolex watches. It is also good to know that they host a support forum and have a technical support team who will be happy to point you in the right direction should you encounter any problems.

If you have an interest in writing and a desire to air your thoughts then WordPress does represent a good quality, free piece of software which will allow you to achieve this.

You have heard it before – having a top page rank is crucial for your business.  The top three positions are the most sought after as they get the most clicks.  Unless you are a well known entity like Amazon.com, eBay.com or Dell.com, you will need to bank on unique keywords to let your potential customers find you in the ever crowded world wide web.

Optimizing your website for web presence should be a frequent, if not daily, activity.  Ranking positions in the search engine results fluctuate all the time and do so most frequently for popular keywords.  Unless you spend time optimizing and tweaking your website, you will without doubt slip further and further down the rankings as other webmasters enter into your market and outrank you with the same keywords and then some.

There are various methods you can use for optimization and usually a combination of different techniques is proven to be more effective. Among the techniques that are popularly used in combination with others is writing really great quality web content. Content is king and information in the form of content is most sought after on the web.  When writing content, your articles should be unique and relevant to your business. It should also be helpful and informative to your readers.

Targeting specific keywords for your article is the most delicate task in achieving a high page rank for your website. A great technique is to write an article normally as you would and after completing it, replace some words and phrases with your basket of unique keywords which you have already researched on using tools such as Wordtracker or Google’s keyword tool.  Without specific keywords and phrases, the web traffic that you generate will have no relevance or interest to your website, hence you are unlikely to make any sale. It is advised that you use your keywords with prudence throughout your website because too much of the same words will also kill your ranking.

Another technique is to contact websites with relevance to your business and request that they link back to you.  This is after you have uploaded quality content on your website. Having backlinks from other quality and relevant websites will result in a higher page rank for you. To maximize your chances of being crawled and included in the search list of popular search engines, submit your website to popular and reputable directories such as the Yahoo directory or DMOZ. You may have to pay a certain rate for each inclusion but the reward would be worth it.

In most cases, optimizing your website is not a set-it and forget-it exercise.  While this may work with niche markets with very little competition, in most cases, you will be up against hungry webmasters who are up all night trying to outperform you.

So make website optimization a frequent activity, or better yet a hobby, and you should see success catching up with you.

Anyone wanting to promote their WordPress blog should seriously consider using a WordPress Plugin Sitemap to help with Search Engine Optimization. In the world of Search Engine Marketing It doesn’t matter if you are promoting a blog, squeeze page or website,Search Engine Optimisation is necessary to make your pages search engine friendly. If your pages aren’t search Engine Friendly you will never standout from your competitors.

For many online businesses 60% of their customer base comes from search engines such as Google and Yahoo. The first step towards search engine optimization is to submit a sitemap to google. This tells google exactly where to find your pages. Google will then index your blog much quicker.

Unfortunately WordPress doesn’t provide you with a WordPress Plugin to generate a Google-compliant sitemap. There is some good news though; Alternative Inks are giving away 250 WordPress Plugins absolutely free, one of which is the WordPress Plugin Sitemap.

Once you have downloaded and correctly plugged the WordPress Plugin Sitemap to your blog it will automatically generate Google-compliant sitemaps for you.

Additionally, the WordPress Plugin Sitemap will also create sitemaps that Yahoo, Ask and MSN can read. The application will give your blog posts priority based on the number of comments they receive. You can override the priority system, however the user can input the parameters he/she wants the sitemap to follow.

It also has the ability to create XML files in many different languages, which comes in really handy when you think of the regional indexing introduced by Google over recent years.

The plugin will ping search engines that can read the sitemap every time you submit a post. This is great because there’s no need to waste your time manually pinging each post when completed. By pinging search engines you are increasing the chances of your blog getting crawled each time you have updated the information you provide on it; giving it more chance to show up in the search results.

The installation of the WordPress Plugin Sitemap is easy. Once the file has successfully downloaded You simply unzip the contents to your plugins directory. You then go to the WordPress admin page to install the plugin through the plugins menu. Now you need to access the plugin and click on ‘rebuild sitemap’ which will then generate your map for the very first time.

For many business professionals blogs have become the main method of marketing. The reason for this is because search engines love blogs so it is often easier to get the search engines to favour your blog over your actual website. When this happens you can then use your blog to drive targeted traffic to your site. which in return gives you more unique visitors and higher importance in the eyes of Google which increases your page rank.

Do you own a localized business? Are you wondering if it’s possible to do local business article marketing to attract customers from your geographic region to your website?

When I speak with local business owners on this topic, there is a common misconception that in order to attract local customers to a website that you need to have your articles published on websites that are based in your town or that exclusively have readers from your city.

Actually, this is not true.

Most local business owners are under the misimpression that the way that article marketing builds traffic is that articles are published on websites where your target readers are already hanging out, and then you receive traffic directly from the articles published on those localized sites.

That is the way that offline marketing works with television, radio and newspaper, but it is not the way article marketing works.

The main benefit of article marketing is that it allows you to elevate your search engine ranking for the keyword terms associated with your site in Google, Yahoo, etc. You elevate your search engine ranking by building links to your website. You build links by submitting articles.

Article marketing is the catalyst behind a link building campaign that will impact your website’s ranking in Google.

Let’s say your local business is a car rental dealership located in the UK, and you only want website visitors who are in the UK.

You do not need to seek out website publishers who run UK based websites.

Instead you should write articles on the general topic of car rentals (“How To Pick The Best Car Rental Agency”, “The 5 Best Family Friendly Car Rentals”, “5 Benefits Of Using A Rental Car On Vacations”, etc). You will write on your general niche, rather than about your specific business in the article.

Then, you submit your articles to websites that publish articles on your topic. So, in this instance, you would submit to publishers who accept articles about cars, travel, automotive, etc. You will find many article directories that have categories on these and other topics.

Where does your specific geographic location come into play? How do you end up attracting customers from your localized area of the world?

When you’re doing article submissions, you will also include a resource box. Each time your article is republished, so is your resource box. A resource box is a short author bio that includes your name, a little about your business, a reason to click through to your website, and a link to your website.

If you are trying to attract local customers, this is also the spot where you will specify your location.

For example, a resource box for a UK car rental agency might be:

“XYZ Car Rentals has been serving the UK for the past 15 years. For top notch customer service and reasonable UK car leasing prices, go to [website URL]”

You see, it is your resource box that will alert Google to your specific location.

It does not matter where your article is published. It does not matter that readers from all over the world may be looking at the directories and websites where your articles are appearing. You will still attract targeted readers from your specific location because of your resource box.

Google sees the resource box, notices the geographic location (for a local business, your geographic location will be a part of the keywords terms you target in your resource box), and Google associates that link in the resource box with the location specific keyword terms used in your resource box.

As you market your site consistently with articles, your Google ranking will get higher and higher. The higher your ranking in Google, the more traffic you will receive. And this is *targeted* traffic, specific to your location and to your type of business.

When will you start using local business article marketing as an extremely cost efficient and effective way to draw local customers to your website?

It is not just a matter of posting your article in free article sites. Remember that your mission is to offer something that your potential client can not resist. It is like hypnotizing him using your articles.

Before anything else, what are the qualities of a well-written article?

First, it must help you put up your profile as an expert. The article will be reflected to its writer. Just like your website, articles must be considered to be your alter-ego. So it must be well-written to portray your expertise in online business industry.

Second, it must be able to draw traffic to your site. The popularity of your site and the products or services that offered there will be dependent on the amount of web traffic that is occurring inside your site.

Lastly, it must help you to put up a database of potential customers through e-courses or newsletter. Once your site is now familiar, you can now make ties with different sites to further increase web traffic.

Anyone can make an article. You just know the basics of article writing (it has an introduction, content, and ending statements; grammar and spelling must be observe) then you are on the go. You can also hire writers to produce more that can be published in several articles sites around the web.

But the question is, can you attract your readers? Can you make them say “Yes” on the things that you are offering for them? Can you lure them to click that link below the article that you have written?

In article writing, it is important that your readers are the Very Important Persons (VIP) in the web. Put them first in your list.

Give them what they really need in you. You must turn them into long-term clients and not just one-time visitor. Think of what they want to know, not what you want to tell them

Still clueless of how will you do things right to win your reader’s approval? Here are the four tips that you can follow to pull your readers and make them say “Yes”:

1. Find out what are your reader’s interests. If you are specializing in infant supplies, then provide articles about the infant’s needs and why they need it. If you lack the necessary information that will be feed to your readers, then have an extensive research. Log-on to different forums and acquire relevant details on things that you want to promote.

2. When you are now writing an article, start it with attention-grabbing title and introduction. It is all right if you take your time constructing it. Make it interesting—something that will lure them to read the preceding contents. For instance, if you are promoting diet pills, then try to make some introduction that will pertain on a single person having some difficult problems in losing weight. Make the reader feel that you are addressing him/her face-to-face.

3. Include in the contents all things that should be included.

Readers need facts, details, tips, and strategies, so include it.

However, make your style of writing in a natural and relaxed way.

Although your readers want that information, they also look forward for some entertainment-type of article. Make it worth reading, not worth deleting.

4. You must not loose that excitement even the article is about to end. That is one of the greatest problem of writers—how to end like they are the superheroes in their own game. Make sure that excitement still lives on while the reader does non click yet your link. You can have ending statement such as “So, what are you waiting for; get started today!” You can also include humorous quotes. Maybe, that smile of your reader will bring some bright opportunities for you.

Article writing is not only for advertising. It is also for informing and possibly, amusing your readers as well. You can say that you are winning in the game when these people already click that direct link going to your website. So start to pull you readers—make your articles be hypnotizing; something like everybody in this planet will dream of having you.

Email campaigns are effective ways to promote services and products regardless of the industry involved, and in view of the on-going economic slump they are becoming even more important. It is important to note however that as with other types of marketing, email marketing has strengths and weaknesses, advantages and disadvantages. Correctly used free email marketing enhances online credibility, reputation and sales. When casually or incorrectly done it can literally obliterate any relationships with clients.

Some of the pros of free email campaigns are: Email campaigns are relatively hassle free as their primary aim is to craft an email that will grab clients’ attention. Compared to many other methods of advertising email campaigns organized within a fixed budget can be cost effective. Immediately after the emails have been sent it is possible to gauge their success by the number of emails or other responses returned. Relationships, which can reach beyond email sales, may result in long term relationships. A global reach is possible with email campaigns as people from around the world are targeted. Emails can improve understandings regarding what clients expect of the product and the seller. Alterations in the design or content of the campaign can be made at anytime. Campaigns can be developed based on the likes and dislikes of the targeted receivers.

Some of the cons of free email campaigns are: Email lists take time to get up to speed, thus the opt-in list will take time to grow. It may be difficult for those who receive the campaign emails to distinguish them from spam. There may be more problems as the size of the opt-in list increases. There is no assurance that even a great marketing email will be delivered to the inboxes of clients.

It may be hard to meet each email publication deadline. Coming up with different content for each campaign can be difficult.

Smart email marketers enjoy a number of email marketers’ pros which include but are not limited to: Freedom to do whatever is right for them in the moment which gives them lots of options Freedom to experiment and learn. Once the basics are learned online emailing seems easy. When things are working well and are automated, time becomes exponential and more money is made at an increasing pace.

When a design goes well it brings an experience of incredible pleasure.

Auto responders are now available making email marketing both easier and more efficient because the marketer just types one message, clicks submit and it is sent to every name on his or her list. A subscriber to an email mailing list can be worth several thousand of dollars in future revenues so it important to quickly learn how to be a professional at email marketing and enjoy all ts pros.

The fact that Internet marketing can be lucrative does not necessarily mean that it is an easy thing to accomplish. In fact, many times people new to marketing find themselves overwhelmed and end up giving up before they even get started. So while some people claim that Internet marketing is easy, others would beg to differ.

The truth is anyone can make money from Internet marketing as long as they know the right tips and tricks to go about getting positive results. And after seeing some success, it can help boost your motivation and even yourself esteem-making it easier to make money online.

The first trick to effective internet marketing is to find a good product to market, and get to know it like the back of your hand.

Make sure the product is something you believe in and would use yourself, because this makes it a lot easier to try and sell it to other people. If you don’t believe in the product you are marketing, no one else will believe in it either. Once you have learned about your product, it’s time to start making money from it.

It is essential to invest in some kind of email marketing program.

Whether you choose an auto responder you already have access to, or a professional email marketing service, you are going to want to use it to gather emails of potential buyers. Without creating an opt-in email list, you are literally leaving money on the table, which means it is up for grabs for another Internet marketer.

Collect some emails, and then all you have to do is send them valuable information on a consistent basis. The best part is that every time you contact them, you have a chance to sell something to them.

Finally, it is important to believe in yourself as much as you believe in the product you chose to market. In fact, Internet marketing is just as dependent on a confident marketer as the product itself. Ways to stay mentally ready for this business include making use of social networking sites, gathering twitter followers and engaging in conversations you might be interested in on forums. When you can build authority for yourself by branding your name and sharing your expertise on the products you are marketing, you boost your confidence ten fold and before you know it you will be the one saying that Internet marketing sure is easy.

List building is probably the most essential part of any online business, if it’s successful. Many new marketers won’t bother building a list because they believe they should get sales first.

It does make sense to go after straight sales when you haven’t made any money yet. But as you will find out. it will slow your businesses growth quite dramatically.

If a new affiliate marketer is going after sales only, they are sending all their hard earned traffic straight to the affiliate program owner’s website. This way maybe 1 in 100 hits sent will convert and they will earn a commission (depending on the conversion rate of the offer).

The smarter way to do it is to send all their hard earned traffic to a lead capture page or squeeze page, getting the prospects email address and only then sending them on to the affiliate website which they’re promoting.

Now, out of every 100 visitors you will get around 10-25 email address in your auto responder and again depending on your capture page’s conversion rate, this can be as high as 50 out of every 100 visitors giving you their email address.

Now by getting these people’s email addresses rather than just sending them straight to the offer, you have leveraged your traffic. Now you can email them over and over with related affiliate offers. Further, now they are on your list they know who you are, with good content in your auto responder series, they will also like and trust your opinion. People who know and trust you are far more likely to be responsive to your affiliate recommendations.

These aren’t by any means the only reasons why you should build your list first before sending your traffic to an affiliate offer.

One of the biggest reasons you should set up your affiliate marketing business in a list building first type fashion, is because when it comes to doing joint ventures and ad swapping, the size of your list is what determines how much leverage you have to get lucrative joint venture deals and ad swaps with. Joint ventures and ad swapping are by far two of the fastest ways to build your affiliate marketing business. Any marketer that knows 2 bob worth can tell you that.

Therefore, it is in your upmost best interest to build this valuable asset, ‘your list’, right from day one. Don’t think I can build a list later, your business will suffer. List building will set you free.

How To Earn Extra Money With Affiliate Marketing Programs Many people trying to earn extra money with affiliate programs are not doing it correctly. Earning money with Internet affiliate programs does not have to be hard, but there are a few things you must do the right way.

In my opinion doing affiliate marketing is one of the top ways to earn extra money.  You can do it on the Internet once you learn a few basic skills which we are going to look at.

1. Target a specific niche and find the product you want to sell within it. A good idea is to choose a product that you personally have used so that you can promote it easier.

When you can promote a product from a position of knowledge you come across as more sincere. Most of the other affiliates you compete against will not purchase the products they sell and this will affect their sales.

2. Do not use the company website, but rather create your own website. The affiliate merchant will give you a website to promote, but you have to remember they are also giving the same website to everyone else.

If you build your own website to promote your affiliate products with you are different than your competitors and that’s a smart thing to do. With all the quality tools available building the website or blog is easy today.

3. Don’t just throw website up and put a bunch of affiliate products on it. It’s okay to do review pages on products, but be sure to keep all those separate as opposed to just having one page stuffed with banners.

We have all seen websites that are unprofessional in appearance.

Usually these are the ones trying to put too much information on one page. Keep it simple and focus on a specific product and your sales will go up.

4. Capture names and email addresses so you can follow up with people. Everyone who comes to your website will leave and most will never buy anything from you.

Email marketing is a proven way to earn extra money with Internet affiliate programs. This works because you get the opportunity to follow up with people over time until they are ready to purchase.

This is much better for long term traffic than trying to make all your sales on the first contact.

In conclusion these are a few tips I can offer you on how to earn extra money as an affiliate marketer. Using the Internet to join affiliate programs and sell products for merchants is an excellent way to supplement your income.

A common mistake that new online marketers make is to create a website and then think of ways to get guaranteed web traffic to it.

While that is an intuitive thought, you should really first put some analysis into the traffic before you even establish your website. The reason for this is that SEO (search Engine

Optimization) will be an important way for you to gain organic traffic, and if you do it the right way, you can start seeing visitors right away.

SEO is comprised of two elements: relevant keywords and backlinks or, as some people refer to them, incoming links. Before you develop your website, you will need to have an idea of the keywords that you want to target and make sure that they are included in the website’s content in order to get guaranteed web traffic. It’s generally recommended that when you first start out, you should go for the lower-search volume keyword phrases, rather than the more competitive general terms.

For example, if your business focuses on jewelry, you might want to identify a more specific keyword like “costume jewelry” or even more narrow, like “costume jewelry earings”. The keywords that you will include on your website should be the exact terms that people are looking for when they do a search online. And you can find these keywords very easily by using the Google Adwords Keyword Tool which is completely free of charge.

This tool gives you keywords that are relevant to your business and also provides information about how competitive the keywords are, how often they are searched for, and how much people are bidding on them for PPC ads. You want to locate the lower-searched terms that have less competition. Identify three to five that you can use early on in your website or blog.

In general, each keyword should be used once in some sort of important position in your site or on your blog (like the title or page header), in the first five words of any description following the title or heading), and in the last sentence of the content. In the body of your content, it should be used no more than three percent of the time. Before you start looking for backlinks, you want to have at least five articles (of about 500 words) on your blog or at least five pages of your website.

Then you can start working on obtaining backlinks. You can do this by submitting articles about your business to article directories, Squiddoo, HubPages, or article directories and linking them back to your website. Or you can comment on blogs and forums that are related to your industry, and include your link in your comments.

These are just a few ways that you can get backlinks to your site.

The more quality backlinks you have, the better the search engines “like” you, the higher you will be ranked in search engine results, and the more guaranteed web traffic you will obtain.

Are you having a hard time trying  to improve the quality score of your pay per click (PPC) campaign? You are not alone. Many internet marketers go through trial and errors before finding the right formula for success. There are many factors that can influence the click through rate (CTR) of the initiative. Another consideration is the cost per click; the amount of money you need to shell out whenever your ad converts. Resources can be allocated better with the right marketing message.

It is a fact that most marketers waste a lot of money in online marketing techniques that deliver poorly. In essence, the root cause of this problem is the failure to study all available options in the marketplace completely. Most will go for cookie-cutter approaches that are similarly being used by the competition. This dilutes the projected effectiveness of the campaign.

One strategy that has shot up in prominence recently is location extension. Google AdWords actually allow companies to include their business address beneath the ad copy. But many businesses do not want their full address disclosed to everyone. Adding to that, Google does not support this feature in many countries. This limits its effectiveness as well as appeal to the marketer.

A popular option is regional targeting. It uses the core concepts of location extension without going overboard. For example, by simply adding the state, city, or county where the searcher lives at the end of the ad, click through rates can shoot up significantly. In fact, some observers even note that many internet users might click on these advertisements even if they are unfamiliar with the advertiser’s industry. This is for the simple reason that they’re curious enough about the business in their “locality”.

To get this kind of impact, being more granular in regional targeting is called for. The process is quite simple. Instead of targeting the whole of the United Kingdom or Australia, you can choose to “target specific locations within a single country”. In Google AdWords, it is possible to narrow down the market further based on metropolitan area. One downside is that auto-rotating these ads in the same campaign aren’t allowed. Overall though, using a location extension strategy in your PPC campaign is worth trying out.

After a few weeks, it is important to conduct comprehensive testing on your AdWords campaign. It will let you identify your key strengths and pinpoint weaknesses. Analyze all your gathered data and make modifications as necessary.

Writing articles and publishing them on article directories your online business. For example, you can generate highly targeted traffic, build a list, sell affiliate products or increase your website’s search engine rankings, simply by doing some good article writing research and publishing your best work online.

As with any writing task, a writer must do some research and plan their tasks. Therefore creating an article writing research plan before you start working is great advice. Your plan doesn’t have to be pages long, the only thing that is important is that includes your goals, your strategy and your tactics.

Focusing on the three most important factors – the topic, the target audience, and your own agenda – will give you enough information to make your article informative, relevant and guiding your readers to your desired call for action.

The Audience

One of the priorities of a researcher is to know what the target audience is looking for. Knowing who your audience is, what they want and what they expect from your article will give you the edge of providing them with the appropriate article. Bear in mind that the target audience is the deciding factor which will make or break your campaign. Serving your audience must be the first in your list.

The Article Format

By completing the first step, knowing your audience, you automatically find out your topic. When writing your article, you should also consider which format your article should take. Is it a “How To” article, is it a “Avoid These Mistakes” article, or maybe it’s a simple story. You’re article format has a huge impact on readers – whether they are looking for an expert opinion or simple step-by-step instructions, it’s important to cater to their taste.

Your Agenda

Publishing your article online normally serves a bigger purpose.

Whatever your agenda, building a list, strengthening your online reputation or making sales, you should keep your ideal outcome in mind,. Otherwise you will spend a lot of time and expertise on creating articles without maximising your return.

Planning your article marketing strategy, and researching your audience and topic beforehand are key factors in your article marketing success. If you want to make a splash with your articles, you’re well advised to plan your steps and ideal outcome before you start. A well planned article marketing strategy will ensure you get the most out of your articles.

Email marketing has become one of the most advanced and effective forms of marketing available to people who are looking to make money online, especially those who are able to get free leads.

For this reason, there are now many companies and individuals using email marketing to attract and convert people into their business and/or downline.

So if you have a network marketing business and a decent collection of MLM leads, email marketing is one of the most effective methods to promote your business and automatically place your marketing message in front of a large number of people using autoresponders and tracking tools to keep you up-to-date on the results.

You can use the free network marketing leads you have obtained and set up any number of variations on your message, cross-promoting various products, offering free downloads and using other marketing techniques to turn your best free leads into participants in your business.

There are three tips you can use with your email marketing that you can implement to improve your results.

The first one is that the content of your emails should be clear, concise and simple to understand, so people will know exactly what you are offering. That way, it will be much easier for the prospect to comprehend exactly what you want them to know and do. Keep your message friendly, simple, informative and valuable and you will find a good response.

The next tip is the importance of capturing and keeping the interest of your prospect of your email message.

People are quite busy and receive lots of emails. If your message fails to provoke and retain interest, they will stop reading it and may stop reading your other emails also. Therefore your message should be designed in an attractive and appealing manner, so that your prospect will be intrigued to finish reading your message to the end. By the end of the email the prospect should either be totally equipped to make a decision or much better informed about your products and/or services.

The third tip is again in regards to the fact that people are very busy in their daily routines and don’t have a lot of time to read emails.

That is the reason one of the best things to do is ensure the email marketing you send is brief and to the point. If it is not brief enough, prospects will not be interested and will likely stop listening to your message.

So when doing your email marketing, you can use these straightforward tips to help your efforts and profit from this amazing marketing technique that is helping people and companies make money online, and is very useful if they have free network marketing leads.

You read a lot about how email list building is important.I say that statement is Wrong.I would say that it is not important, but more than that, it is crucial to your success. You will also be working harder not smarter without building your list.Lets look at some proven strategies used by most successful marketers.

Perhaps you don’t realize the importance  of building your lists, in which case you are probably a newbie or don’t realize how most internet marketers make their fortunes.

Maybe you are just too busy running your business and working your butt off trying to keep your business profitable etc., or if you think that email list building is hard, complicated or expensive, so you didn’t do the crucial thing you needed to do. List building is much easier than you think.

There are  many tools and resources available out there on the internet that can make your email list building task relatively easy, inexpensive and even fun. Just like in most endeavours, there is a right way and a wrong way to do something and building your lists included. Also I am sure you are aware how much garbage is out there on the internet, so it’s hard to know who to beleive and what information to accept as truthful, up to date and/or complete.

Whatever your niche market happens to be, in fact even if your business is primarily offline, you need to focus on building your email lists for the following reasons.

One, by making it possible for your visitors and potential customers to leave their info in the optin box you are not leaving money on the table or bleeding traffic and you are starting to build a relationship with them therby being able to send them your sales offers in the near and distant future.

There is a proven way to capture your visitors names and email addresses and establish this relationship but I don’t have room for that here. The best way is to offer them something of great value or to help them solve their problem. This can be a free subscription, newsletter, ebook, report or something else of value to them which you offer to send them via email if they leave their name and email address.

The right way to establish a relationship with your list, once you capture their names and email addresses, is to continue to send them useful and helpful information. The more value you give to them the more trust and respect you will get and they will become to see you as a friend and guess who they will rather buy from, a stranger or a friend.Sorry no prizes for a correct answer there.

A good reason to concentrate on your email list building is that you will make it much easier on yourself by freeing yourself from the hard work of promoting your business and expenses associated with it, like advertising costs. Whereas by having an email list of your own you can send out an offer to all your list by a click of a mouse, which will cost you next to nothing except some time to write your email and offer.

As long as your sales offer is of value to your list and you don’t abuse this ability to reach your list by bombarding your list with constant sales offers without providing value in return, those people on your list will buy from you time and time again and stay on your list.

Now that you know, if you did not already know, how crucial email list building is to your success, go and put your efforts into learning how to build your lists as soon as possible.

Don’t leave email list building on the bottom of your priorities.

In fact it is crucial to whether you will succeed or not online.

Creating a blog is one thing, promoting it is different altogether.

From the very start, it is important to keep branding in mind. For example, the domain name you choose should be easy-to-remember, relevant, and has a classic ring to it. It should be able to represent your brand and business over the long term. It also helps if your domain name has your main keywords that you want to target in the search engines.

Once a domain name has been chosen, the next step in brand building is to customise a logo. A well-designed logo gives your brand a unique identity.  If you use a compelling logo to help people identify with your company, expect that this to yield long-term benefits. The domain name, web hosting, and corporate identity kit

- including the logo, lays the groundwork for a successful blog.

After these steps are finished, the following can further cement your place in the blogosphere:

Writing Attention-Grabbing Headlines

Every successful internet marketer attributes much of their achievement to good copy. Don’t underestimate the power of the written word on the web. Strive to create good headlines each time you write. Some tips include keeping it short by limiting it to 50-60 characters. Take note that punctuation and spaces are also counted as characters.

The headline is very important and should describe the article content on its entirety. For example, if you’re reviewing a gadget or a movie, the name of the device or the title of the movie should be mentioned. Likewise, the concept should also be used in other forms of writing, whether it is a scientific article or simple blog post.

Promoting Your Blog

With the huge number of blogs crowding the blogosphere, it is difficult for an average blogger to get heard. The solution? Be above-average. Promoting your blog could be time-consuming but it is definitely a worthwhile effort. Having a good relationship with bloggers in your same field is an effective way to increase brand awareness. These networks give you guest posting opportunities and open up a whole new world of possibilities.

Another benefit of these blogging relationships is of course, link backs. The more relevant links you have, the better for your blog.

Many successful bloggers say that creating a blogroll could be advantageous too. Listing your favorite blogs can get your site noticed not only by your “idols” but it will help you establish a better relationship with readers since they are able to relate with you better.

Article Marketing is an essential tool for most internet marketers

- whether experienced or beginners. With the right article marketing tips you can leverage your time and effort even more.

Although article marketing is often described as a free method to build links and traffic, it certainly costs you time. A good article marketer must have the vigor to invest quality time in creating unique and valuable info loaded contents that will benefit your audience. And to achieve this, you need the right aptitude and dynamism to perceptibly convey the information your target audience is looking for.

I will outline two of my best article marketing tips in this article – I’m sure they will help you leverage your time and energy. It is a major concern that your strategy must not only be restricted to excellent writing but should also take on other facets involved in the whole article marketing promotion.

Know the Article Directories. Before you plan your strategy, make sure you know the available article marketing directories so you can assess their strengths and weaknesses. As someone has said, “not article directories are created equal”. There are good ones and then there are some.

It’s not necessarily the best strategy to submit your article to every directory. It’s better to choose quality over quantity.

Focusing on 5 or 10 relevant and reputable article directories with high PR will reap you the rewards of massive traffic for your site.

This is not a number game as most people seem to believe; it is rather a game of popularity, credibility and authority.

Create Articles that Bedazzle Readers and Win Over the SEs. You definitely want the readers to reach the end of the article and stay content enough to click on that valuable link to your website, right? Your article should be straight to the point – succinct, compelling and of course relevant to your reader. You have to write for your audience – your readers will only appreciate your articles if they are valuable and important.

There is more to article marketing than just writing for your audience; there is also the thing about how your audience will find you in this vast blue yonder. The answer is: optimized articles with significant keywords, key phrases and keyword modifiers that will direct your target audience to your article.

Just gear your campaign in these basic article marketing tips and once you focus the bulk of your winning methods and techniques on these two facets of article marketing, believe me, the rest will be very easy.

If you have been trying to build your online business entirely online, you may need to step back and consider the possibility of offline marketing. That is what many of the most successful online businesses do and there is no reason why you should not follow suit.

Nationwide television ads may be beyond your business budget, but you can still tap into a rich source of offline publicity on a much lower budget. Here are a few offline marketing tips to help you spread the word about your online business.

1. Focus on Promoting Your URL and Your Logo

When it comes to promoting your website offline, it is important to focus solely on your URL and your logo.  These two details are the most important things that anyone could possibly know about your website. Your URL gives them a way to find you and you logo creates a sense of brand recognition.

Everything you do or give away should have your URL and your logo on it. We are talking about business cards, gift certificates, mouse pads, golf tees, t-shirts, caps, decks of cards and whatever else you can think of to give away. Be sure to include it on your letterheads and envelopes. The aim of every offline marketing tip is to find a way to raise awareness of your URL and logo.

2. Local Awareness

Apart from giving away products, one of the best ways to get the word out about your website is to get involved with the local community.  There are many ways that you can do this, and the most it will cost you is some of your time.  Think about approaching your local Chamber of Commerce, or schools and colleges in your area to give a talk about your area of expertise. Getting actively involved in charities and participating in fund raising events could be another possibility.  All of these techniques can quickly generate word-of-mouth buzz and increase traffic to your website.

3.Regional/National Awareness

One of the best ways to get your website known on a larger scale is to attend conferences and trade shows that are related to your industry.  These conference are not only networking opportunities, they also give you a way to showcase everything that your website offers.  If you do not want to travel yourself, many businesses will hire local individuals to host their booth for them for the weekend.  Even though you will not be able to network directly with other participants, at least you will be getting your website address and logo in front of a new audience.

These are just 3 offline marketing tips that can be used to increase your website traffic.  Many webmasters still do not put any effort into offline marketing, which leaves a huge gap that you can take advantage of.  You will quickly get ahead of the online competition if you implement these offline marketing tips.

  • there is a network of websites – primarily blogs – that are interested in feeding their blogs with content

So SEOLinkVine takes the articles, spins them (rewrites them so that there is a certain uniqueness about the articles (so that Google accepts the content as unique), and distributes them to the blogs. Of course, the content is tagged and the articles are distributed to matching content sites and blogs.

The business model works such that the blogs receive their content for free and the article writers become a member that will allow them to write as many articles and submit them as they wish. Membership currently costs $47 per month.

After an initial set-up which takes about 20 minutes the WordPress blog (and perhaps others) can be set to automatically receive the articles. For that purpose the admin of the blog needs to create a user whose credentials are passed on to SEOLinkVine. As a consequence SEOLinkVine can autopost to your blog (if that is desired).

Purpose

By distributing spun aricles into  a network of several thousand websites and blogs internationally,  Google friendly backlinks start to build very quickly. Since Google takes backlinks as an important factor when ranking pages, these articles help to draw traffic to the promoted website and increase its rank, which in turn will generate more traffic and eventually money.

SEOLinkVine really stands on both sides of the spectrum and offers a complete concept from writing articles to distribution.

Functionality for the writer of articles

This is pretty well thought out. The writer submits an article and the software has an automated spinner included that does a pretty decent job at keeping the text not only unique but actually quite legible for humans. I found this to be one of the most important factors when deciding on giving SEOLinkVine the “Worth It!” Label. The articles get tagged, i.e. categorized, which in turn is used to allocate the articles to relevant websites.

I have not found out yet, how well articles get distributed in which niches (categories), but imagine that there is potential for further growth in the future.

To publish an article you copy and paste your text into a WordPress like editor box, where you can style and format it to your liking. Interesting is the fact that you can incorporate rich media files like videos right into your article. That is a feature I have not seen anywhere else.

After finishing your text you define categories  that your article belongs to. These categories serve to select the relevant blogs. You can also define the number of blogs your article should be submitted to each day and the maximum number of publications.

Artcle Spinning works quite neatly. Words that can be spun are selected by the software. You check boxes in front of the matching synonyms that are offered to you. Select a block of text and exchange that block, and spin words inside the block, as well for even more combinations.

It is rather refreshing that the software actually works and does not constantly interrupt your work with buggy errors.

Functionality for the website owner

As described above you need to authorize SEOLinkvine to write into your blog. Of course you can decide to publish the posts after reviewing them first. During my test period I found that the quality of the articles was not always equally good. Some articles read more like sales’ pitches and needed to be erased. If you want to look at the type of articles that I have been receiving on this Cash-In.US blog check out the entries by the user SEOLinkvine. You will find them to be quite informative and they read reasonably well. Of course, the worst ones you will not find :) as I have delted them.

Pricing

There is a introduction price right now (End of April 2010) of $47. This amout is due every month as you use the service on a continuing basis. I have listened around a bit and understand that most “gurus” find this price incredibly good value. For my self, I have yet to be convinced that the additional links will beam me to the front page for some of those more difficult to get key words. I will keep you posted as I progress to the front page…

Recommendation

Yup, SEOLinkvine gets our “Worth-It!” qualit label. We recommend it for its functionality and ease of use.

Do you want to know the secret to generating more cash from your information product creations? It’s quite simple; you need to sell more, or refund less. Better still you could do both. The good news is that there are three simple tools you can use to make more money, and they won’t cost you a penny.

The best thing about these tools is that you can use them in all of your promotional items, from sales letters and autoresponder messages, to classifieds ads and solo mailings.

You can also use them to make sure you refund less.

And the best bit is that they don’t cost a penny, they work over and over again, and you have complete control over them.

Intrigued? It’s really quite simple. The tools are the way you use words.

Tool one: Education

The whole reason that people buy information products is because they want to learn something. So you have to give your customers information that teaches them something.

But don’t wait for the information product to do the educating.

Start with your promotional tools and you’ll soon have your prospects thinking: “this person really knows something; I need to take a closer look.”

So you’ll sell more.

Make sure that your information products actually show customers how to produce the results in their own lives and they’ll walk away happy and satisfied.

And you’ll refund less.

Tool 2: Entertainment

Providing educational content is only half of the battle here.

Let’s be honest here; your high school physics teacher provided you with a whole load of educational content in each and every class you attended, but would you buy something from him?

Nobody likes boring content. If a boring programme comes on television we’ll switch over and if a book is boring we’ll likely fall asleep. And I don’t know about you but my credit card stays firmly in my wallet if I’m reading a boring sales letter, or autoresponder message.

You need to bring your words to life. Make them fun, make them entertaining, keep the reader engaged.

Try using:

* Illustrations

* Funny stories

* Outrageous statements

I once read an article titled: “I’ll Swallow A Live Grasshopper If This Doesn’t Boost Your Website Traffic”.

It was an extremely popular article!

We all love to have a good time and there is no reason why you can’t apply that mentality to your writing.

You need to entertain your readers as they consume your promotional materials.

You’ll sell more if you do.

Once they have bought your product you need to make reading it an enjoyable experience and keep them entertained.

And you’ll refund less.

Tool 3: Emotion

We are all driven by emotion, whether it’s outrage over an injustice or excitement at a success, emotion is what makes us human.

Stop for a moment and think about the decisions you have made in the past few weeks. How many were made after intelligent analysis and how many on an emotional response. As much as we’d like to deny it, most of us make decisions based on impulse.

Your job here is to invoke emotions in the reader. Fill them with hope. Empower them. Make them feel courageous. Motivate them. Get them to take action.

More than education and entertainment people want someone to compel them to do something to improve their lives. So fill your readers with hope and expectation with your promotional materials.

You’ll sell more products.

Then fill your customers with more enthusiasm and more confidence with every chapter that they read of your information product.

And you’ll refund less.

Three simple but incredibly powerful tools:

Education.

Entertainment.

Emotion.

The power and the profits go to people like you, who put them into action.

Is blogging a major part of your on line sales strategy?  Well, blogging is a great way to reach out to people, grab their attention and give them what they want. What do most web surfers want? They want solutions to problems, answers to questions, information on products or services, and in many cases they are searching for something they want or need to buy. If you know how to use blogs to generate web traffic and web sales you will reap the benefits and your business will grow.

Quality Content Matters

When using a blog to generate website traffic what you post has to be of value to your readers. Writing a hard-core sales pitch will only mare your reputation and your visitors will click away never to return again. Any content you write should be written with the reader in mind. Make sure you are writing to serve their needs first because you have to gain their trust. If you provide accurate, honest and relevant information your visitors will continue to read your blog post, comment and subscribe, but more importantly they will trust you.

Quality content is grammatically correct, optimized for search engines, has relevant keywords and keyword phrases placed properly.

This will make it easier for search engines to find and rank your blog. And people will find you.

Use your blog to drive traffic to your website by adding anchor text within your content that tells your visitors and the search engines where that text link is sending them. Add links to text that flows naturally with the topic you are writing about, don’t use the old ‘click here’ phrase it is not search engine friendly and can seem misleading. Tell visitors where they are going and you will drive quality traffic to your website.

Commitment Counts

maintaining a blog takes time and dedication, you have to be committed to posting on a regular basis, everyday is best, but once or twice a week will suffice if that is all the time you can spare.

A blog is an active means of communication, if you don’t care about your blog why should anyone else? Take time to answer comments, fix errors you notice, stay on topic with your post, interact with your visitors and build a reputation for you and your business.

These are simple steps on how to use blogs to generate web traffic and web sales that will work. Using a blog to send traffic to your business website can lead to increased sales, referrals, and repeat visitors.

Over the past decade, the web has grown to such a scale that there are websites covering every single topic under the sun. Due to the sheer scale of it, it is near impossible to pin point the exact number of websites which are on the web; however, statistics show that in February 2007 there were an estimated 29.7 billion pages on web. Taking into consideration the speed in which the web has grown since it’s beginnings in the 1990′s, it is safe to say that this number has increased greatly over the past three years. When it comes to using the internet in connection to our business, targeting the right customers can be hard due to the level of competition our website has. There are various methods in which we may attempt to attract the right visitors as a means to increase our traffic, but some of the most effective methods are in actual fact the cheapest and easiest methods.

Increasing your website’s traffic is all about making your presence known on the web. Marketing and advertising strategies are the main way in which to do this, but in terms of traditional business these can be costly and take sometime to be effective. However, the internet is a fast paced business which allows for your campaigns to be made live in a much shorter space of time, as well as lowering your costs to almost nothing. One of the best ways in which to target visitors is through the use of back links. These can be placed on a wide variety of sites which gain high traffic such as social networking websites and blog sites, but can also be placed on other sites which you can partner up with, exchanging links. When using back links, the first thing you must take into consideration is what your website/product is and what your target market is. In doing this, you will have a clearer idea of what the best sites will be for you to target as irrelevant sites or sites which receive a low level of traffic will be of no use to your website. If you are fortunate to have capital to use, you can also use the aid of Pay per Click schemes. Large search engine sites such as Google can offer this to you but before deciding on this as a means to help your traffic, think about how much you can honestly afford as not to risk a loss in profits.

As businesses look for cheap ways in which to promote their websites, there has been a great increase in the amount of blogs and article directory sites on the web. These allow you to promote your product or service, as well as providing a link back to your website all for the simple exchange of your content on the website.

This is a great way in which to gain more back links to your website, as well as s great method of advertising and self promotion. Different websites will have their own guidelines in terms of what you may submit to their sites, but in most cases this is one of the easiest ways in which to promote your business for free. The more external websites you use, the more links you will accumulate on the web which will help your overall traffic level.

However, ensure you submit content to reputable sites which have some kind of relevance to your website so that you are targeting the right visitors for your market.

Finally there is one of the most beneficial forms of advertisement- word of mouth marketing. This is not necessarily something which you can achieve yourself, but rather a method of marketing which is completed by your current customers and visitors for free. Word of mouth marketing works by users of your site adding their own back links on to websites in the form of link sharing. Many companies and websites have benefited from this increasing their traffic thanks to social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. The way in which you can help this become possible is by providing a website and service which is worth talking about. By doing your own part in terms of promoting your website and your own marketing strategies on sites such as these, they are more likely to be noticed by visitors who will then be motivated to visit them. If they like what they see, they can then use bookmarking and other back linking methods to share with other web users they know, thus providing you with free marketing.

Generating traffic to your site is simple when you take into consideration what is right for your website. By looking at the way in which other websites are using the web to promote themselves, you too will soon discover the benefits which come from using simple, yet effective marketing techniques and see your traffic levels soar.

A difficult economic environment has forced many companies to take a long hard look at how they do business. The financial crisis of

2007-2009 saw the stock market hit numbers that were way below the highs of past years and governments scrambling to put together rescue packages for collapsing financial institutions. Many industries shed numerous jobs. As would normally happen during such events, the focus always starts to move towards ways of cutting costs while at the same time not compromising the company’s core business model.

One such area that often starts to suffer from budget cutbacks is marketing. After all, many argue that marketing might not form a core component of the business especially if they perceive that products have already picked up sales momentum in the market. Of course this would be a tragic mistake because even the strongest brands and products in any industry still need marketing in order to not only sustain but also grow sales. The better approach is to turn to more innovative and effective ways of marketing your products – this is where inbound marketing comes in.

But what is inbound marketing? In a nutshell, inbound marketing is geared towards making your customers look for and find you. In traditional marketing techniques, the focus has always been on the company looking for customers. The media used included print advertising, television and radio ads, telemarketing, trade shows and email marketing. But what happened? Advances in technology as well as the emergence of privacy legislation have had a profound impact on these modes of advertising.

For instance, telemarketing can be restricted when users request to be added to a ‘do not call’ list. Television advertising is no longer guaranteed to reach every person that tunes to a particular channel. There is increasingly the option to turn off advertisements as viewers demand more television content and ask for less advertising. Email spam is now not only blocked by spam filters, but can organization can get into trouble with the law for sending what would be classified as unsolicited email. Add to all this the mental numbness that consumers start to get into by being exposed to too much advertising. For instance with so many billboards, a billboard advertisement may not have as much impact or draw as much attention today as it did when billboards were first introduced.

Inbound marketing turns the entire concept of traditional marketing on its head. Rather than interrupt your TV viewing or radio listening with copious amounts of advertising, the video advertisements are developed and then placed (usually on the

internet) somewhere where people can go and view them. Rather than placing advertisements in print publications, inbound marketers create their own blog that their customers will want to visit on their own volition and enjoy reading the content. Telemarketing is replaced with people wanting to call you to request more information on your products. In short the customers come to you and not vise versa.

There are 3 key components necessary for any Inbound Marketing campaign. How you execute these three components is what will determine how successful your Inbound Marketing strategy will be.

It is what will shape the number and quality of leads that your website and business attracts.

The first key component is content. Content is indeed the cornerstone of any inbound marketing campaign as it is the quality of your content that will attract potential customers to your business or web site. You should make the content informative, unique and interesting if you are to achieve maximum marketing efficiency.

The second component of Inbound Marketing is Search Engine Optimization (SEO). SEO will make it much easier for your potential customers to locate your content through search engines. It is a long known fact on internet users that on average, the majority of visitors to your website will have been redirected through a search engine. Employ the different techniques of SEO as would be appropriate for your business and product. Make use of the right keywords and develop quality back links.

Social media is the third component of Inbound marketing. Social media is what will give your content that punch it needs to have maximum impact. When distributed and discussed on the major social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace, your content and thus products and business gains credibility and is a powerful way of drawing new customers to your site.

There are two main reasons why Inbound Marketing is more efficient than the traditional (or Outbound) Marketing techniques.

First of all, it is more cost effective. Outbound marketing will often be characterized by huge spend on buying advertising space on television, radio and print, as well as renting space at trade shows. Costs are significantly lower with Inbound marketing. A blog cost almost nothing since setting up an internet blog is free. You need only create content which is cheap even if you get someone else to do it. The largest social networking websites such as Twitter, MySpace and FaceBook are free to join and can draw thousands of potential customers to your site in a short time.

The second advantage is that Inbound Marketing targets customers more effectively. Traditional techniques such as mass snail mailing, e-mail and telemarketing campaigns are poor in niche targeting and often come across as haphazard and thus annoying to some of the people reached. Inbound marketing only handles people who demonstrate interest in your content and are therefore more likely to be interested in what it is you are selling.

Think about your website as a giant encyclopedia. Someone who lands on your site, who knows nothing about it needs to know where to look for information. This is where a site map comes in. Site maps provide a guide to those who were visiting your site. Site map save your visitors time, and help them find exactly what they are looking for.

In addition to being beneficial to your readers, a site map also helps the search engines locate you. When somebody goes to a search engine looking for a particular keyword or phrase, if you already have a site map your site will be searchable.

Fortunately, site maps are easy to create. You do not have to know a lot of programming to create a usable site map. A simple text program and some patience is almost all that is required.

Create a listing

Using any basic word processing program or Notepad, create a list of parts of your website. Sure to include all pages, as well as all links. Think about us site map as you would the contents of the book. Remember, this will be your first draft and will require you to do some double checking to ensure you do not miss anything.

Build a new page

You have the option of inserting your site map on your website as a totally separate page, or incorporated into an existing page. If you elect to build it as a new page, be sure that you incorporate your tax. Once you have done this, open up your website Creator program and tag your site map.

Create a link

The next thing you will need to do is to create a link for your site map. In general, the best place to put a link for your site map is right on the front page. This allows visitors to immediately identify where your site map is, and allow them to find the part of the website they are interested in.

Validation

Once you have created your link, validate the entire site map. You will have to go through every link, and test each of them. Doing this will allow you to catch any errors, and allow you to fix it before it is published. While you are doing this, make sure that all pages are listed accurately in your site map.

Uploading

After the validation step, your site map is now ready to go live.

Once you do this, once again go through the validation process.

Provided that you were thorough during the original validation stage, you should not have much to repair.

Summary

As you can see, creating a valid site map is not difficult. In some instances, you will be able to find tools online that will build a site map for you. However, if you have designed your own website, creating a site map is just like creating any other page. In addition, you will know that your links are all accurate, and you can also organize them in any manner you prefer.

Remember that the ultimate purpose of the site map is to ensure that your visitors can find the information that they want. Anytime you add new content to your site, your site map will need to be updated.

Email Marketing Opt In List Building Tips Off line business owners and Internet business owners are both using email marketing opt in list building. The reason is that it is a profitable way to market products online to customers who agree to receive email.

This is what makes a list an opt in one. People agree to receive email which is different than sending out spam emails.

With this type of email marketing business owners have the right to contact their subscribers whenever they want. The key is offering helpful information a person would want to continue to receive.

If at anytime a person doesn’t want to receive emails any longer they can unsubscribe from your mailing list. This is as easy as clicking a link at the bottom of each message being sent.

People have short memories online today. They may be surfing around and subscribe to a list and within a couple of hours forget they have even done it.

For this reason opt in email marketing is critical. This requires your subscriber to not only fill out a short form, but also to confirm their intentions by clicking a link to their email list.

This is good for both the Internet business owner as well as a subscriber. Internet businesses do not want to have subscribers on their list that don’t want to be there. By confirming their intentions they agreed to receive email from you.

The larger your opt in list becomes the more profitable it can be to you. This is a very quick way to market products as opposed to some of the old fashioned marketing methods.

For example direct mail is something some business owners still do because it does work. However that can be quite costly and generally you will not send out a piece of direct mail out to anyone more than a handful of times a year.

The only real cost you have with email marketing is the cost of your autoresponder. Of course you do have the cost of building your list initially and continuing to add new subscribers to it.

Building a list can be done on blogs and websites. It can also be done by promoting splash pages in various ways throughout the Internet.

Enticing a person to give you their name and email address is a skill. However if you are providing something of value in return for that person’s contact information it becomes a fair trade off.

These opt in email marketing list building tips can have an impact on your future business. Having a list to send email to is an asset that many Internet marketers cannot place a value on.

Using a Combination of Marketing Techniques When you are laying out your marketing plan, you need to decide whether or not to do your marketing online, off-line, or to use a combination of both. Regardless, most business owners are aware that a single marketing strategy will seldom be as effective as multiple marketing strategies. While it certainly is not necessary to implement a lot of marketing strategies, combining two worthwhile strategies can help you achieve your business goals. If you combine e-mail marketing with another single type of marketing, it will allow you to create a multi-tiered strategy that is not that difficult to manage.

Many businesses currently find great success with e-mail marketing.

This does not necessarily mean that they should avoid other online marketing techniques including having a website, participating in other message boards that are relevant to the industry, utilizing online banner advertisement, affiliate marketing campaigns, etc. In fact, it is well known fact that not every marketing strategy will be effective for every business. It sometimes takes trial and error to find out which ones work best for your business.

Some businesses find that e-mail marketing campaigns work extremely well with more traditional marketing methods. In fact, radio and television advertising as well as traditional print media can often enhance e-mail marketing efforts. If you have elected to use both on and off-line marketing methods, a combination of traditional media and e-mail marketing can be very effective. In spite of the popularity of the Internet, there are many people who still resist using the Internet for either purchasing or researching products.

Some businesses have elected to combine e-mail marketing with banner advertisements as well as message board participation. Each of these simple activities are all online, they can create a powerful Internet presence. E-mails can be designed to provide your audience with useful information regarding your products or services. Banner advertisements can be placed on your website and may be of interest to your possible clients. Those businesses who elect to participate in industry specific message boards have found that they are able to establish themselves as credible sources far more quickly.

One of the advantages of having a multifaceted marketing campaign is branding. It is important to remember that potential clients do not always currently need the product or service that you are offering. However, pursuing an aggressive marketing strategy keep your name in front of them, and keeps your brand in the public eye.

When combining multiple marketing strategies, you have to remember that it may not always be easy to evaluate their effectiveness. It is often wise to implement various marketing strategies so they are not running concurrently. By focusing in on one type of strategy at a time, you can track increases in sales or traffic to that particular strategy.

In order to allow you to determine which strategy produces the best effect, changes should not be made to an individual strategy until you understand exactly what effect it has on sales and traffic.

From time to time, you may in fact notice that certain marketing strategies have a detrimental effect.

If any reason you are unable to determine which marketing strategy is working, you may want to consider creating a customer survey.

Surveys can help determine how somebody found out about the product or service that you are offering. They can also provide you valuable insight to how people found your service, decided on your service, and what they think about your service.

A solid marketing plan is required to help any business grow. The more well thought out your marketing plan is, the more likely you are to have success in your business.

How a Newsletter can Improve your Business Newsletters can be a very cost effective marketing tool, that can have a positive impact on your bottom line. Not only will newsletters not negatively impact your marketing budget, they also do not necessarily require a lot of man hours, and they can greatly increase your sales and profits.

Newsletters allow you to inform your current customers about any changes in your products or services. In addition, newsletters can be used to attract new customers, provide “inside information”

about what is going on with your company, and in general, reminding subscribers that you are around, and that you have great deals on your products or services.

You newsletter should always show your upper-level of expertise and knowledge. Oftentimes, those who receive your newsletter may share it with friends, family, or colleagues. This greatly expand your potential customer base. If you do not currently have a newsletter, then you may want to think about the benefits of publishing one.

This cost effective marketing tool could provide you with long-term benefits. Here are some things that you should consider before publishing a newsletter.

A) The content that you provide in your newsletter should must be related to your business. It is important to remember, that your customers are looking at you as an expert in your field. If you stray too much from your field via your newsletter, you could ultimately wind up costing yourself customers. Not only may you alienate existing customers, you are not likely to attract new ones.

B) Your newsletter must be well written, and professional. The information contained in your newsletter must be of value to your readers. In addition to providing information, your articles should be checked for spelling and grammatical errors. Remember, you are supposed to be the expert here. You are staking your reputation each time you send out a newsletter.

C) Fact checking your newsletter is important. Do not try to “fudge” facts and figures since it is your reputation that is on the line. When appropriate, provide valid sources of information.

The last thing you want to do, is to lose the trust of the readers of your newsletter.

D) Whenever possible, the information that you provide should be current. It could be tempting to provide “stale” news, you will quickly lose readers if they cannot depend on you for fresh content. Simply rehashing the same information over and over will not help gain new readers, and it will not encourage your readers to visit your website or make a purchase.

E) If you feel that you will not be able to easily create a newsletter, you can always hire someone to do it. While there are many websites that offer “free” articles, be sure of any limitations that may apply. The last thing you want to happen is to be in violation of copyrighted materials whether it is an article or a photograph.

Summary

A newsletter can be a powerful marketing tool both for existing clients and for gaining new clients. A newsletter can take some time and some thought to put together. If you have the possibility to create a compelling newsletter that can potentially drive sales, it may be worth your time.

All You Need To Know About Making Money With A Blog The ‘how to make money blogging‘ topic is a very comprehensive one, and worst of it all, it is made more complicated by people’s conflicting opinions online.

I will give my own opinion but I will do it in such a way that it is concise and easy to understand. Of course, there will be sections which I will not cover in depth but rest assured because I will cover them in the future on this very blog.

The one thing I want to make very clear before I start to talk about the topic of blogging is the following:

Blogging is just a vehicle to making money online.

The reason why I say this is that 99% of people do not make a full time living directly from their blogs. Of course, there is that small 1% which end up doing so but that’s the tiny minority. Most people online use blogs as a tool to make money online. I’m not stopping you from trying to be that 1% which makes a full time income solely from a blog, however, it is far easier and more lucrative (financially) to use blogging as just a vehicle to making money online. And it’s a very powerful vehicle if used correctly.

Why Blog?

The number one reason why you should blog is because the search engines (especially Google) love them!

And the reason why they love them is because blogs tend to have the freshest and most up to date content on the Web. Search engines thrive on relevancy and indexing new and fresh content is up there.

As a consequence, blogging has the power to help you get high rankings for target keywords as long as you’ve done your on page SEO correctly.

Content Is King

Because the search engines love indexing new and fresh content on blogs, it is suffice to say that content is king!

You have to be adding new content to your blog on a regular basis, whether it be daily, weekly or fortnightly. The more often the better, however, keep it to a maximum of 1 new post per day.

If you want to visually see the benefits of posting new content on a regular basis, take a look at Problogger. It was started by Australian Darren Rowse back in 2002 and he has posted something new everyday since. In the process, he makes a full time living from his blog as well as being the biggest blogger in Australia and one of the biggest in the world.

This should be enough to show you the power of blogging.

You Pitch, You Lose

I have to point out that posting new content does NOT refer to finding a new product to promote and blatantly pitching it on a blog post.

That’s not what blogging is about.

Blogging is all about giving visitors useful and interesting content about a certain topic so that they return to your blog for more in the future.

By blatantly pitching a product is only going to turn away visitors (and potential future customers). And given that they have only just met you, what are your chances of them purchasing from you straight away? Ask yourself: would you buy something from a person you’ve only just met?

The best way to make money with a blog is by using your blog as a medium through which online visitors can get to know you and what you are about. Use a blog to build a relationship with them as well as gain trust.

Build A List

In the previous section, I did not say that you shouldn’t promote your products or services on a blog. In fact, you should and I encourage it. However, it has to be dome in an intelligent.

This is where you need to use list building.

You should utilise your blog to build a list of prospects, which means people interested in what you are all about. This involves grabbing people’s first names and email addresses using what is commonly called an opt in form. However, you have to give them something enticing in return for their details.

Here are a couple of ideas:

- access to a weekly newsletter

- a free video

- a free report

- a free ebook

- a free audio recording

Once people enter your list, then you can start sending them information about your products and services and potentially make sales and get customers.

The Key To Making Money With A Blog

At the end of the day, the key to a powerful money making blog is great regular content. Think about it this way.

The better and more regular your content is, the higher your blog will rank in the search engines. And the higher your rankings, the more traffic your blog will get. And the more traffic it gets, the more people opt into your list. And the more people that join your list, the more sales and customers you can make.

It couldn’t get any simpler!

To conclude, I would like to say that if you could not understand some of the terminology used and topics covered in this post, don’t worry. As I said at the beginning, I will covering them in greater detail in the future. The most important thing you should get out of all this is that you understand the general concept about how a blog can be used to make money online.

I stumbled over this little black pearl called TheTweetTank.com just a few minutes ago, watched the 3 videos and felt my heart pump vigorously, because I thought this might finally be the product that automates Twitter, in one piece of software made in a way that I can understand without spending a week-end reading the manuals …

For those that don’t have the patience to read the review: This is the product page of The TweetTank

The Promise

  • Add up to 20’000 Twitter followers in under 30 days!
  • 99% fully automated
  • 1 1/2 hours to completely set up
  • 2 minutes of work per day
  • 60 day money back guarantee
  • With our secret code we do not use API so you’re not limited by twitter limitations

The Price

Currently 59.99 supposed to go up to $77.-

The Performance

Ordering / Delivery: Easy ordering as always with a Clickbank Product. But delivery confused me for a moment, as there was no download-link on the confirmation page after paying… There was a download link to the bonus package (some 89 MB that downloaded very slowly), but none for the product itself. The e-mail reached me some 5 minutes later and cleared everything up as it contained the download link and the serial number. Again the download of the software was on the slow side.

Installation: Files come as 64- and 32 bit versions. Easy and done in 2 minutes and allows you to set up theTweetTank to start when you start Windows.

Setup of the TweetTank Software

Creation of an account: you can use the built in functionality to create an account at Twitter. My first attempt failed as that functionality crashed inside of TweetTank, although the account had been created. I found that it was easier to create the account on Twitter and then very simply import them into TweetTank.

Setup of the Account

You basically work your way through 4 categories (Follow, Unfollow, Messages, Settings) and through sub-tabs where you define each aspect of your Twitter account.

Follow

Twitter Search lets you define one search pattern (keywords, how many results, interval, location, etc.). TweetTank will then automatically follow one user every x minutes up to the indicated number of users. The general function works well.  But the keywords seem to be linked by “and” instead of “or” which led to not finding any users when I indicated too many keywords.

Another sub-tab lets you search “User-Based” (to add a specific user’s followers or followings). “Auto Follow” follows people back that follow you and sends them a direct message.

The range of functions seems to be quite complete and lets you define all aspects of your following. I let the function run over a short night. When I returned the other morning, I was following some 200 people and had about 100 of them already following me back! It would be nice if I could define more than one search pattern and save them.

Unfollow

Unfollow has a manual tab where I can unfollow specific users individually and I can define a task (how many users to unfollow with what interval) that will get started when I click “Unfollow”.

The “Auto-Unfollow” is supposed to unfollow people that did not follow me back after a certain number of days. But all I can do here is set the delay in days which in turn sets the date of the next auto unfollow time. So if I were to set this at 30 days, it would only be triggered in 30 days from now. I would prefer to see a function I can trigger now and that then instantly unfollows all users that have not folowed me back for the last x days.

Messages

This category lets you tweet, auto-tweet, auto-reply, tweet RSS contents and send direct messages to users that mentioned your name.So here you can take care of pre-filling your tweets and defining in what intervals they should be sent to your followership. “Auto-Reply” comes in handy when you wish to not only follow a person back when they follow you but also send him a direct message. “Super Tweet” lets you select Followers by keyword and send them direct messages. A very cool function that will get quite a bit of impact with your followers.

Again, this is a very complete set of functions and TweetTank offers all I will ever need to do my auto-tweeting. But the scheduled tasks seem to be unreliable (as per print dat of April 2010). Somehow the auto-tweeting did not work when I left it in charge over night. A brief stopping and restarting the task put the auto-tweeting back on.

There seems to be a general problem with timing and scheduling in TweetTank. For instance, RSS Tweets set to fire ever 30 minutes and predefined auto-tweets set to be sent every 10 to 30 minutes generated 3 times as many RSS tweets as auto-tweets (while the ratio should have been reverse)

Settings

This is where I found TweetTank to be inconsistent. Settings lets you “start the program with Windows” and “automatically follow users on start-up”. You define the keywords that are used to find new followers. But why should I have to do that when I have already defined my daily autofollow task in the “Follow” category?

And why is there a  “auto unfollow users on start-up” when I have set the auto-unfollow to trigger after 3 days of not following be back? This setting would unfollow people before the 3 days have passed.

Under settings I can also back up and restore “all” my settings. I found however, that I lost many of my definitions under “Follow” and “Unfollow” and had to enter them again.

Other Issues

There is also a problem when switching from one user account to another. Here, too, not all settings and definitions are maintained. So it becomes a real pain to constantly redefine these settings.

The program is laid out so that you can start more than one instance of TweetTank. That should allow you to run tasks for different accounts at the same time. Here, too the relevant account information seemed to be mixed up with other accounts.

Also, when you log into an account, the tasks that you had defined don’t seem to be automatically triggered and started. So, again, switching from one account to the other interrupts the work of the bot and requires your manual interaction. With this, the level of manual attention increases far beyond the 1% that are advertised.

I found that Tweets are recognized as coming through a client and are marked as API in Twitter. This seems not to work as advertised.

For TweetTank to be perfect, I would like to see the management and running of all the tasks from all the accounts in one instance of the software. I would like the tasks to be scheduled and started with Windows and I woul like to have an overview of what tasks are scheduled and executing in which account.

I posted my concerns to support and will keep you posted on their reactions.

Update as of April 17, 2010

Regarding Support

I received an e-mail back from Support, basically telling me that the software had been tested for several months and with several hundred people and that it worked. My problem was probably to do with permissions…

Well, as there are probably a hundred programs on my machine that do not have permission problems, I dared to write back offering support to look at the machine and the situation 1 on 1.  So far, I have not heard back…

Conclusion

The product is good now, with the range of functionality it offers. It could be great, if account switching and scheduling worked together better. At the current level, we cannot yet award TweetTank our “Worth It” label, but sincerely hope that improvements will be made, because we feel that this product has a lot of potential to work very well and make you lots of money.

If you want to get a copy now, you can do so here: Get TweetTank

Our software works with windows operating systems Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. Designed to run as if you were at twitter itself. With our secret code we do not use API so your not limited by twitter limitations

5 Blog Post Styles to Inspire You

Keeping your blog interesting and fresh isn’t just a case of posting regularly, you also need to mix things up and use different styles of posts to keep your readers engaged. Here are five different styles you can try out to make your blog more interesting.

1. The inspection post

One of the easiest ways to make money with your blog is to review products that then pay you a commission for any sales that you make. The inspection post is one where you take a closer look at a product and review it for your readers.

An effective inspection post will cover the positives as well as the negatives. People want to know what’s good and bad about a product before they buy it and the more honest you are the more likely they are to buy the product through your affiliate link.

2. The insights post

Offering insights to your readers is a great way to write an engaging and interesting post. Sometimes you might have a great tip to share that doesn’t warrant a whole article but would make a great short post. Say you blog about cake baking, a useful insights post could be as simple as instructions on how to grease a muffin pan so that the muffins turn out easily. Creating a short video to show your readers how it’s done can make it even more interesting.

3. The index post

Readers love lists. It doesn’t matter whether it’s 15 Great Ways to Build Traffic to Your Website or the Top 10 Kitchen Utensils Every Baker Needs. Whatever niche you are in you will be able to compile a useful index post. These resource lists are popular because they are easy to scan and can help people find the information they need quickly and easily.

The other great thing about these index style posts is that they have the potential to go viral. People love to share index posts with their friends via Facebook, Twitter or the other social networking sites, compile a useful list and before you know it you will have a whole new set of visitors.

4. The interview post

Interviews are a great source of interesting and engaging content for your blog. You could arrange to interview an expert from within your target niche, or the author of a book. It will take some work to set up the interview as you will need to contact prospective interviewees to ask them to take part. Once they’re on board you simply need to compile an interesting list of questions and ask them to complete the answers by email for publication on your blog.

5. The instruction post

People turn to the Internet when they want to know how to do something. So instruction posts can be really useful. Spend some time in the forums and see what problems people have and then create a blog post walking them through the solution step-by-step.

Including screenshots or images can help to get your message across, and videos are even better.

Top 5 Ways to Make Money with Your Blog

Many people start a blog as an online journal, but with a couple of tweaks here and there it is possible to start making money online.

Here are five ways that you can make money from your blog.

1. As an affiliate

One of the easiest ways to make money from your blog is by becoming an affiliate. You start by finding an affiliate programme that promotes products which are suitable for your niche. If you’d like to promote digital products then head to the Clickbank marketplace, Commission Junction is a great place to start if you’d prefer to promote tangible products.

Once you have selected a product you can then promote it by including adverts on your blog, or more effectively by writing honest reviews of the products you are promoting and then including your affiliate link.

The great thing about affiliate marketing is that you don’t need your own product to sell so it’s really easy to get started.

2. As a product owner

If you have been blogging for a long time then you probably have enough valuable content of your own to create an ebook or audio/video course that you can then sell to your readers. As you have already built up a trusted relationship they are likely to buy your product.

3. As an advertiser

There are a number of Cost per Action or Text Link providers who will pay you a commission when a reader takes action or clicks on a link. The great thing is that you don’t even have to go to a lot of effort, you simply add a little bit of code to your blog and all of the relevant words are automatically converted into text link adverts.

4. As an Adsenser

Google Adsense and other pay per click advertising programmes provide you with a piece of code that you can insert into your blog posts and sidebars to display which are relevant to your site content. YOu are paid a small fee every time a visitor clicks on a link. The amount of money you earn per click will depend on the niche you are in.

5. As an associate

If you have a popular blog with a strong readership then you can sign up to an associate programme where product owners will pay you to write a review of their product. You will receive a flat fee payment for the review so you don’t need to worry about whether anyone actually goes onto buy the product or now. You will need to make sure that the product is appropriate for your audience or you risk upsetting your readers.

You want to send email to a list of 10 to 10’000 recipients.

The fundamental question is: Should you purchase software that you can install on your computer and send the mails from there or should you use an online services instead? Both methods can be called “Auto-responder Software“, but the operational differences are quite significant. I will explain what to look for:

Deliverability

I bet that you would like your emails to reach the recipients… ;-) This is a huge criteria when picking an auto-responder software. If you install a software on your computer, you are using your Internet connection and your provider to dispatch your mails. Depending on the software it will use the providers mail server (smtp server) exactly the same way as Outlook does or it will have its own smtp server built in, in which case it will use the computer as the mail server. If the computer is used as the smtp server, mail will very likely only reach part of the recipients, because spam filters will recognize the non public nature of your “mail server” and simply refuse acceptance. If the software forwards mails to your provider’s mail server, you will likely reach the provider’s limit for sending out mails very quickly. Because providers want to avoid that their clients send spam, the number of mails that can be sent within a certain period of time can be quite low (50 or 100 mails per day).

If on the other hand you are using a auto-responder software service and that service is doing a good job, then you can count on the largest possible deliverability rate, because that is how these services can distinguish themselves.

Sending Spam

Using your own auto-responder software installed on your computer, you can – within the restrictions mentioned -  send anything you like (also spam). If you do send spam you will very likely be caught rather quickly and either the smtp server will be blocked for you or even the Internet connection. The reason for that is that the provider simply does not want to be considered accepting spam coming from his network.

Using the hosted service you will not be allowed to send spam at all. The restrictions and online tests are quite rigorous. If you send spam you will get caught and banned from the service.

Functions

Both types of auto-responder software can provide a host of functions such as:

  • using templates for graphical html mails
  • automatic conversion in text mails
  • managing users (adding, editing, sorting, selecting)
  • creating mailings where newsletter and recipient get combined
  • personalized content (where names and other information gets pasted into the text of the mail)
  • creating follow up campaigns (automated dispatch of series of mails in predefined time intervals)

There is a bias towards hosted auto-responder services for these tasks, as the server has more direct access to the information

  • tracking (statistics as to the performance of mailings)
  • bounce management (what happens to mails that don’t reach the recipient)

Cost

Locally installable auto-responder software is usually sold as a licence for a number of computers or servers. The upfront amount is charged only once.

Hosted server side autoresponders charge a monthly fee that varies with the number of contacts you are holding in their data base.

Speed

A hosted service takes the message and mixes in the recipients data (mail address, etc.). Once you have initiated the task, it is out of your hands and out of your computer. The server sends the mails into the Internet directly. Delivery is much faster than when dispatched from your computer, which has to send each mail individually through a relatively slow upstream to your provider.

Gathering contact information

To efficiently do that you need a webform that you place on your website or squeeze page. A subscriber fills in the form and gets stored in the data base. If you use a hosted service the webform can interact with the service directly and trigger responses instantly. Working with an autoresponder software from your computer requires your computer to be on to react. The setup of your own network is also much more complicated as it requires often times dynamic DNS settings (much more complicated than using the hosted autoresponder.)

Conclusion

If you want to be a serious Internet Marketer you will have to pick a hosted Autoresponder Software, anything else is not really an alternative.

Our Suggestions for Autoresponders

Check out the briefing about list building here

We recommend two services: AWeber und GetResponse. See the above link for details.

Email marketing, list building, marketing to a squeeze page to build a permission based list…

These are all terms online marketers are constantly confronted with. Let me explain here for the beginning Internet marketer what the deal is with “Permission Email Marketing”.

What is Permission Email Marketing?

In short: it is the chicken that lays golden eggs!! Email marketing has been around for over 10 years. When people started to notice that it is lucrative to send mails around and selling something, email marketing got out of hands very quickly. The term “spam” was borne and spam mails were hated as much as the unappetizing fleshy equivalent locked in cans. But we know all that.

So next came asking the recipients whether they would like to receive someone’s spam. And if they answered “yes” it was no longer spam but permission based email! Now, combine permission based email with selling something and you arrive at permission email marketing.

Since sending mails to people who actually want to receive your information is very lucrative, building a permission based email marketing list is what every one in the Internet marketing arena tries to do.

There is  a multitude of courses that teach you exactly how to go about building your own list step by step, so I will not go into details here, but lay out the general concept and explain why it works.

Why does Permission Email Marketing work?

Bcause email has become the most widely used form of communication. While we are very quick to delete mail, we are also prepared to consider non spam messages and integrate them in our work process. So if you happen to be on some-one’s good side he will open your mail and give you a chance to make a fool out of yourself… ;-)

Now imagine you have impressed your recipient before, let’s say because you have given him something for free, or have surprised him with really good information, he is very likely to listen to you again.

Further imagine you have delivered again in your next email and now he really pays attention to what you are sending him. He clearly wants to get what you have to offer him.

Now, once in a while send him an offer that benefits you both: let’s say about a product that he probably will find useful. If he decides to purchase it, you will make a commission. Because he trusts you your chances of landing a sale have hugely increased.

But all of this is only possible if you have permission to send emails.

What’s on the other side of the spectrum?

Well, that would be spamming! It is illegal in most countries. It clogs the Internet, eats the bandwidth and storage capacities of companies and is probably the largest known time waster of modern times.

Still, there is so much spam out there, that you have to conclude, it is worth doing. There are business models that work on the basis of the large numbers. Spammers send their mails in millions to purchasable mailing lists. The organizations distributing spam are usually illegal and base their “services” on cracked servers that have been taken over by using malware like Trojans and viruses. These zombies receive part of the load and willingly spread the junk to everywhere in the world.

People hate spam. And if they catch you sending it, they hate you. They will never open a mail from you again. And spam filters all over the world will block you from sending mail again. You, your company and your products lose their reputation and in the eyes of the Internet you could as well be dead.

You probably derived from my wording that I am a vivid promoter of white hat, permission based email marketing and do not subscribe to any other email marketing technique.

So What Do You Need to Get Started?

There are basically just three things you need to start your own permission email marketing campaign:

  1. A website with a squeeze page to collect subscriber email addresses. For a complete beginners’ guide on how to do this, get our free e-book “Create your first website by 3:45″, a 125 page thorough tutorial written by Chris Farrell.
  2. An auto responder to track your contacts and let you send your messages. Find a short description about the two auto responders that we recommend with our Worth It! quality label
  3. e-mail messages delivering valuable information and the product sales’ links. The monetization of your list, once you have one is described in Chris Farrell’s e-book (see #1 above). There are also many tutorials on that subject some of which we are going to review.

If you have any questions, post them here, so my answers can benefit many.

  1. Establish yourself as a trusted expert. People search online for information and will look to you, as a subject matter expert, to provide it to them. Every week (or whatever schedule works) provides an opportunity to build on this, while reinforcing your brand.
  2. Build a relationship with the people on your list. It’s common knowledge that people like to buy from people they like. By using ezines to connect with readers in their homes, you can develop a relationship of familiarity and trust. Be sure to share a little about yourself or your company in every issue, whether it is an anecdote, event, or employee spotlight.
  3. Keep in touch with prospects and clients. Consideration should be given to eventually developing two ezines: one for prospects and one for clients, as each require different information. This is a great way to notify your readers of weekly specials or upcoming product launches, offer new articles or customer stories, and provide links (or urls) to updated FAQs, blogs and splash pages.
  4. Drive traffic to your website or blog. As noted in #3, remember to call attention to new blog posts or other changes to your website with links directly to those pages. Remind readers of your online newsletter archives. Promote special sales (maybe with discount coupon codes only for subscribers) with a link to the sales page. Use links to turn your ezines and newsletters into “silent salespersons”– driving traffic to your website and building your lists around the clock.
  5. Build content on your website. Make a habit to adding your ezines and newsletters to your website in an archive area. This serves a several important purposes:
    • Visitors can read an issue or two to determine if your ezine will be of interest to them, which could help to increase sign-ups and potential sales.
    • If you optimize your article placements, you will not only make your website “meatier”, but you’ll also bring new traffic from the search engines.
  6. Get feedback from your readers. Make it easy for you to stay in touch with prospects and customers and vice versa. Ask them to take action and comment on your articles and offers. Conduct polls and surveys. Start a “Letters to the Editor” column in your ezine. Feedback allows you to fine tune your messages, target your marketing, and expand your product line. It’s also great for relationship building!
  7. Develop an information product. If you deliver your newsletter once a week and include two articles, at the end of a year you’ll have 104 well-researched articles in your portfolio! Pick the best-of-the-best and turn them into a bonus ebook for opting-in to your list, submit to download sites to build your list, or sell in PDF-format!
  8. Grow your mailing list. Let your ezine subscribers work for you. Be sure to remind your readers that it’s okay to forward your newsletter to anyone they’d like. In addition, it’s important to include sign-up instructions for those who received your ezine from viral marketing methods. A simple line titled, “Get Your Own Copy of XXXXXX”, with a link to your squeeze or opt-in page is all it takes!
  9. Gather demographic data. By offering surveys, feedback forms, and niche reports, you’ll be able to get valuable information about your prospects and customers. Learn what makes your readers tick, how to better serve them, and how to give them what they want. Make sure they become repeat customers!
  10. Save money! All of the above benefits of publishing an ezine are free or almost free. The small cost of a top-rated ezine publishing system is nothing compared to the cost of brochures, business cards, advertising, direct mail, pay-per-click or other means of promotion. Not only that, but someone has to manage that production! Because your newsletter is delivered online, you can grow your list to be as large as you want without worrying about the expense. Bottom line − it’s proven that email marketing is the most cost-effective marketing solution for companies just like yours!

Email marketing can be profitable for any business, no matter what kind of product or service you offer. It is significantly cheaper than other advertising methods and, if done right, helps build loyalty and trust with customers. As a result, you generate more sales and more profits!

The foundation for successful email marketing is a targeted, permission-based email list. Marketers call contact lists their “goldmine” because it can generate much of their sales revenue. If you’ve built up a list of opt-in subscribers that are qualified and interested in what you have to offer, then you’ve completed the first step and are on your way. Now it’s time to “mine” for gold!

Below you’ll find several list-building and retention ideas that will help you get the best results from all your email marketing activities:

  1. Provide useful, relevant content. Your visitors will not give you their email addresses just because they can subscribe to your newsletter free of charge. You have to provide unique and valuable information that will be of interest or use to them.
  2. Add a subscription form to every page on your website. Make sure it stands out so it is easy to find. If it doesn’t look cluttered, you may want to include more than one on some pages. For instance, if your opt-in form always appears in the top-left corner of your site, you may want to add one at the end of your most popular articles.
  3. Add subscription forms to your social media pages. Make sure that you don’t waste this valuable source of revenue opportunities. Integrate your sign-up forms with Facebook and more!
  4. Make it easy for readers to sign up. The more information you request, the fewer people will opt-in. In most cases, a name and an email address should suffice. If it’s not necessary, don’t include it here. You can always survey them once they’re customers! We do recommend that you provide a link to your Privacy Policy however.
  5. Publish a Privacy Policy. Let your readers know that they can be confident you will not share their information with others. The easiest way to do this is to set up a Privacy Policy web page and provide the link to it below your opt-in form. (Note: If you don’t have one, put the words “privacy policy generator” into a search engine and you should be able to find a suitable form to use.)
  6. Provide samples of your newsletters and Ezines. This lets potential subscribers review your materials before they sign up to determine if it’s something they’d be interested in.
  7. Archive past newsletters and articles. An online library of past newsletters and articles is both appealing and useful to visitors and builds your credibility as an authority. In addition, if your articles are written with good SEO techniques in mind, they can increase traffic to your website through enhanced search engine positioning.
  8. Give gifts subscribers can actually use. Offer an opt-in bonus for joining your subscriber list! Write an ebook or provide a PDF business report, or even hire a programmer to create downloadable or web-based software. But don’t limit yourself to offering gifts to opt-ins. Give them out when your readers fill out a survey, provide a testimonial, success story, or a great product idea. Let them know when they can expect the next gift offer. Everyone likes to get something for free! And if you pass out “goodies” throughout the year, your subscribers will feel truly appreciated − and that’s good for business!
  9. Ask your subscribers to pass it on. Word of mouth is a powerful viral technique that works great with email marketing. If your subscribers find your content interesting, amusing or informative, they’ll probably share it with their friends. This can be a great source of new customers, so make sure to remind them to “pass it on”.
  10. Let others reprint your newsletter as long as the content is not modified. If you’re happy to share your content with the universe, then why not! Many webmasters and newsletter publishers are actively looking for high-quality content and, if they reprint your newsletter, you’ll get new subscribers, and more traffic and links pointing to your site.
  11. Include a “Sign Up” button in your newsletter. If you’re using plain text instead of HTML, be sure to provide a text link to your subscription page. You may feel that this is not required because the subscriber is already on your list, but remember that readers will forward your newsletters to others, or reprint them online. Make it easy for them to subscribe!
  12. Add a squeeze page. A squeeze page has one goal − to acquire opt-ins and build your list. Think of it as a mini-sales letter to go along with your subscription or opt-in gift. It should feature a strong headline and a couple of powerful benefits that should make subscribers salivate to sign up! Once created, use a service such as WordTracker to find hundreds of targeted keywords, and promote your offer using pay-per-click advertising from Google, MSN and Yahoo. Now that should make a splash!
  13. Include testimonials on your squeeze page. This is crucial. Put one or two strong testimonials from satisfied customers on your squeeze page. This can be in any format, but you may find that multimedia (audio or video) is more “believable” and inspires more people to action. To further enhance believability, get permission to use actual customer names, locations and/or urls (Don’t use “Bob K, FL”). Add a note inviting others to participate. After all, it’s free publicity!
  14. Blog religiously. Blogging is a great way to communicate with prospects and potential customers, and creates a nice synergy with your email marketing. Be sure to include your newsletter sign-up form on each page of your blog. You can start a free blog at Blogger or WordPress.
  15. Post on other blogs. Post thoughtful comments and information on similar blogs with a link to your squeeze or opt-in pages. Also comment on others’ blogs through trackbacks. In most cases, your comments will be posted on their blogs with a link back to your site. This is an easy way to generate new traffic and subscribers, and get your brand out there!

Worth It” is the new quality label from Cash-In.US. It represents that the product (info product, tool, system or tutorial, etc.) has been tested and found good quality and performing up to specs. Therefore, if you want an independent second opinion before purchasing…

… find out what an unbiased reviewer thinks about the product.

You have been there before, you have seen it done. A new product hits the online marketing community, and of course you want to know whether it is worth its purchase price or not. After cutting through the marketing hype, a product often times loses a lot of its shine. Others, however offer even more than they let on. So how should you pick the good ones and leave the bad eggs?

Of course where there is a product, there are a hundred reviews. So simply search for “the product name” review and you will find nicely laid out reviews, describing the product, listing the qualities and one or two rather neglectable negative issues. Over all miraculously all these reviews come to the one and only conclusion: Buy!

But of course, you know that there is an alterior motiv in this buy recommendation: the reviewer casually drops his affiliate link which, if clicked will pay him some commissions.

Most people looking to buy a new product know that, but so far had no alternative, no other place to look for an independent opinion about a product, an opinion that is not biased by a monetary compensation. Luckily now, there is Cash-In.US that offers exactly that: an independent resource for intelligence about a product.

Yes, Cash-In.US also places affiliate links to the products they recommend, but they appear to be brutally honest about all the products they are reviewing. So you do get a good chance at a real opinion.

So, if you want to save a lot of money, check with cash-in.us before purchasing and get a second unbiased opinion.

The situation: you have spent months on the product and weeks on the site to get it all perfect. Now you need traffic to your website, but not just any traffic, but real traffic. This is a simple way for getting real traffic started.

By Real traffic, I mean targeted, interested traffic that is ready to act, sign up or even buy. One method that I have come across and have successfully implemented is through forum marketing.

You have built your product therefore you know your niche.

  1. It is time to get involved in the various forums of that niche. Simply type in Google: forum yourniche and you will find many relevant forums.
  2. Pick a few forums and start reading the posts, get to know the people, find the opinion leaders.
  3. Start contributing to these forums. Be helpful and friendly. Use the signature file to link to your website. But do not sell anything
  4. Then get to know the members better. Look at their websites, contact them and compliment them about certain aspects or make friendly suggestions, ask them about how they got started, what they currently focus on and what their plans are. Get to know as many people as possible and keep track.
  5. Create something of value (an e-book, report) and incorporate links to your product site in that report. Title page could contain something like this “For more free information and more tips and tricks, sign up for free to www.yourwebsite.com”
  6. Give that report away to your new buddies for free. Tell them they can do with it what they want (give away, sell it, mail their list)
  7. Also post a thread to the forums and give the report away there, as well
  8. Then lean back and enjoy watching your list grow. Not only did you generate traffic to your virgin website, but you also started to build your list.

Do this for a few weeks and you will start seeing traffic, sign ups and results.

To say it right away: Chris is one of the good guys in this business.

My recommendation: Sign up for Chris Farrell Membership at the bargain price of $4.95.

The following lines are a Chris Farrell Membership Review that should enable you to decide whether you want to invest the $4.95.

Who is Chris Farrell

He is an English guy, around 40 years old, lives in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, USA and has started his online marketing carreer in 2008 with litterally no previous technical or online marketing knowledge. Already after 6 months’ hard work he started to make a regular income that has developed into a hefty 6 figure income since.

His approach is English modest, as in sympathetic and he comes across as a likable, giving, positive individual who truly believes in win-win and value first.

What does Chris Farrell Membership have to offer and who is it for?

Chris addresses foremost the beginning aspiring online marketer who has no or little prior knowledge about Internet Marketing or Internet technical skills. He takes the absolute beginners by the hand and guides them truly step by step through subjects like creating a first website, hosting a domain, building  a list and using an auto-responder.

But having mastered these essential skills, he continues just as diligently and builds an actual web business, researches keywords, picks a niche, builds squeeze pages and a website around it and generates traffic - all again step by step.

The tutoring is done with a multitude of videos showing exactly how everything is done and fits together. His way is gentle and friendly and he never pushes a product onto you.

The Chris Farrell Membership purchases the right to access all his material, his videos and his tutorials. On top of it he provides free unlimited domains hosting (which would cost approx. $10 at Host Gator). Don’t be fooled by this offer, however, if you take hosting from Chris, you will be much less likely to cancel his membership ($27 per month).

There is access to quite a busy forum with lots of friendly people helping each-other and Chris adds more materials and videos covering all kinds of aspects and methods every week.

Pricing

You get access to all his material for a mere $4.95. That covers the first 14 days. Afterwards Chris Farrell Membership currently costs $27 per month.

My Recommendation

The initial $4.95 for access to Chris Farrell’s entire material is a bargain. Of course he hopes that you will stay a member after the first to weeks but that is entirely up to you. Chris even provides a video on how to cancel the membership! (which is an easy no questions asked process). This is an absolut “Get it”.

Cash-In.US Quality Seal: Worth It!

Based on this Chris Farrell Memership Review Chris has been offered to post the Cash-In.US quality seal “Worth It!” on his website. If you are currently marketing your own product and would like to have it tested and reviewed independently contact us at reviews@cash-in.us

I looked at Traffic Bailout only briefly to write a review, because it only took me a few moments to realize that Traffic Bailout is just another face for Traffic Python which I had reviewed and reported on extensively. Click here for the review on Traffic Python.

Traffic Bailout clearly stems from the same programming kitchen as Traffic Python:

  • same general system and concept.
    Generate traffic in two ways:

    • by promoting your links through Traffic Bailout. You essentially replace your links and channel them through Traffic Bailout. In the admin interface you define the target URL and receive a specific link at trafficbailout.com from where your target URL is called and served together with the ad at the bottom.
    • by promoting your own affiliate link which will give you sign ups and potentially viral exposure through your downline.
  • same timed pop up ads at the bottom of the screen
  • same admin interface
  • etc.

Rinse and wash and then publish with a new name for all of us who are simple enough to not notice?

Or did they realize that they had screwed up the first brand and are just trying again?

Honestly, I did not have the time or energy to investigate any further. When a “new” product comes out that is very much the same as an old one but I am not told openly what the deal is… I tend to think that one is not honest with me…

Dear reader feel free to comment and shed some light on this “new” Traffic Bailout” version.

General Concept

Traffic Python sells itself as a viral traffic generator. Like Google it tries to create both advertisers and publishers, whereby the user will likely be both.

As publisher you create links that get channelled through Traffic Python. Such links will display ads in a rather neat way at the bottom of a page. When a visitor clicks that ad, he will get sent to the website the advertiser has indicated. That website opens up in a new browser window. For each click you the provider of the link will get 10 credits that translate to a one time display of your ad. Note: you exchange displays for clicks while you get the short end of the stick.

On the advertiser side, you define your own ad that will be presented in that same animated bottom display of someone else’s link. In the free version you only get to type in text. The clearly more attractive graphical version where you can upload pictures (like banners) is only available if you upgrade.

The viral aspect:
You also function as an affiliate to Traffi Python and receive commissions on the sign ups of other users. Depending on the level of your sign up you will get 2 to 5 levels of downline users to help you generate traffic credits that in turn will translate into “free” traffic for you. The idea is to create a large downline that will then create lots of traffic for yourself plus a residual income on the downline member fees. The percentage of your commission varies with the level of your sign-up (so far I have seen between 25 – 50% commission).

Traffic:
Is targeted to the extent that the advertiser can indicate the categories under which his ads should be displayed.
The publisher, too, indicates which categories his link represents. So in theory advertisers should get only targeted ads displayed. Right?
Wrong! Here there is a flaw in the system: Since it is up to the publisher to indicate his categories there is really no control of what gets displayed where. An unethical publisher could indicate all categories to get the largests possible numbers of ads to display. (After all, the publisher does not know what happens if there is no ad to display.) Of course, he will only get credited if the ads get clicked, and that should encourage him to not waste his adspace with ads that will likely not be clicked, but there is really no control over this.

Purchase Traffic:
You can increase your stack of credits by purchasing one time credit boosts or recurring monthly credits at prices that range from $ 50.- per 1000 ad views to $3.35 per 1000 ad views. Note that these prices are for ad views and not click throughs.

Traffic Python claims that the click through rates for their non optimized simple text ads range from 15 to 19%. In other words the cost per click would be between $0.33 and $0.018. Not included in this calculation are the monthly fees for the various member levels.

Member Levels:
Gold membership is free and gives you text ads and no stats.
Platinum membership costs $15.- monthly and adds one mlm level and free ad displays (500 per month)
Diamond membership costs $35.- monthly and adds one more mlm level and 1000 free ad displays per month.
more levels?

Promotional material:
This is the chapter Traffic Python excels in. The material ranges from a promovideo, a fancy peel away ad, prewritten blog entries (reviews, which are definitely different from mine…) to give aways, graphics, you name it, it is here. The material is so well done that it is almost worth taking a look at what can be done to promote really anything.

Bonuses:
A link leads you to unannounced bonuses. The page opens in a rather unprofessional page that has nothing to do with Traffic Python. The page lists several products, one of which promises “featured downloads”. Unfortunately, you need to log in and again, your login credentials don’t work. The statement “If you experience login trouble, check your inbox for an email with your password.” does not help, because I have never received such a mail.

Process of Getting Started

The starting process is simple. Sign up, confirm and you get to play with the ads a bit. When you notice that you cannot color your text the background or upload pictures, you are disappointed for the first time. You don’t think that the ads you can create are going to be attractive enough to compete against the very attractive and animated Traffic Python ad that gets shown alongside with your ad. You understand that the Traffic Python ad will help you create your downline so you don’t mind cohosting that Traffic Python ad too much.

But you are sure that you need to upgrade to increase the quality of your own ad. The upgrade will cost $15.- per month, but you get a full money back guarantee for 30 days, so the risk is limited.

Upgrading is – again – a breeze with a PayPal payment. Before you know it, you own 5000 credits that should translate into 500 adviews.

So you start to play around with your own ads, create a graphic and upload it to your ad section. Again, that is easy. The correct measures for the graphical banner that will fill the entire ad space are 650 x 100 pixels. That indication was missing but with a little trying I found out.

The preview function works perfectly, you now see your ad in a preview at the bottom of the screen and it looks good.

Next step is the approval by Traffic Python. Each ad needs to get manually approved. As I am working from a different time zone, I waited for several hours for that ad to be approved, the second ad that I had placed, is still pending another few hours later. Hmmm.

The first ad that now has been approved for roughly 5 hours indicates that it had been displayed 5 times. Google Analytics reports at the same time 4 referrals from trafficpython. I think that for 3 out of those 4 I was responsible myself since I had clicked my own ad in the preview mode (probably costing me ad view credits). So clearly, something is going wrong with the rate ads get displayed. I have credits for 500 displays on my account but they don’t move. So what is wrong.

Contact / Support

Traffic Python can be reached by a ticket system that is run by think BIG Publications, LLC, which is probably the mother of Traffic Python. Unfortunately, you are not recognized as a user of Traffic Python when you try to log in under your user credentials, instead you have to register again and then place your ticket.

2 hours later (now) that ticket has not been attended to yet. So I am waiting to hear how the display speed of my ads could be increased. Is it possible that there is not enough traffic to go around?

Jump in time: It is now 1 day later. An e-mail response to my query indicates that I need to create more ads. More ads will generate more hits.

Now, that is really silly, because I like my ad, in fact I had someone create the graphics for it, I don’t want to have to add more ads. So I send back a mail to support asking how to get more ad displays and what would I need to to do if I wanted to purchase more credits (like 200’000 credits for 20’000 ad displays).

Unfortunately no respons within the following 2 days, so I write another ticket. 1 day later, I get the stereotype answer, I need to create more ads.

This is usually the point in a relationship when I throw the towel and decide that some companies are just not worth my time or patience. For the sake of this review, I responded one more time back to support to ask how many ads I would be required to create in order to have those 200’000 credits used up in one day.

1 day later: the answer from support is unchanged. I quote “There is no specific time frame on how quick you can run through 200,000 ad credits, it depends on the number of ads you have and as I stated the more ads, the more views, the more traffic, the more results.”

Well, that’s it, there is no speeding up the ad views other than by writing a zillion ads.

Needless to say that the peeling banner for Traffic Python has come off this website…

For those of you who still want to try it: This is the link:

Final Judgement

The idea is good. The ads seem to perform well enough. Pricing is reasonable.

But the delivey of adviews is far too slow. If you are willing to write a large number of ads (free) you will be able to speed up the rate by which your ads get displayed, but there is no control of how many credits you will use up in a day or month.

For my purposes, Traffic Python is not a valid option.

You are looking for a new home based business opportunity. And you know what… I can’t blame you.

The reason why you were specifically looking for a “new home based business opportunity” as opposed to simply a “home-based business opportunity” tells me that the other opportunities you might have come across did not really work out.

For the impatient: Click here to get a new home based business opportunity that makes sense.

For those of you who want a little more information:

Business opportunities arise left and right and you probably have been bombarded with plenty of them already by mail. Still, you are looking for a new business opportunity. You are not satisfied, the “old” opportunities did not deliver as promised. You are frustrated. So you are looking for a new one that should deliver.

I say: “Stop right here“. Because new business opportunities whether they are called home-based or online or Internet, usually are just more of the same. So you are unsatisfied and hope to be lucky with the next one. In the process you spend a lot of money and what’s even worse: time.

Jumping form one new home based business opportunity to the next one will simply keep you circling around the honeypot, but will never let you reach it. The reason is simple: If there is a system that really works well, you will most likely not hear about it, because those using it will sit on it until it’s been milked empty.

That is why you need to seriously delve into the one important part of your search term: “BUSINESS“. Online marketing is a business. And if you want to make money from it, you have to become good at what you are doing and – yes – hold on to your seat, because I am going to say it: “YOU HAVE TO WORK”. You will have to put in some real time and effort and learn the business.

And exactly at this point, when you decide to make your next business opportunity a real business, that is when I can help you with a really good starting point. I have partnered with Chris Farrell, an English guy who knows to teach beginners. He teaches with videos and has written several really good e-books.

One of these e-books is called “Create Your First Website by 3:45 this Afternoon”. He goes through everything you need to know to begin your online business and he lets you even have a free video course, but first things first:

I suggest you pick up his free e-book that Chris allowed me to offer from my web-page.
Click here to order your free copy. You will be truly pleased about how he gets you motivated and focused on building your own “new home based business”. And that is truly an opportunity!

Often people ask me what I currently consider to be the best new business opportunity. Frankly there is really no simple answer to this. If you have the patience to read through this post, I will explain.

If you do not want to spend the time to read to the entire post to find the best new business opportunity, I certainly understand and will gladly give you a link upfront that I personally consider a great deal and can throroughly support:

Instant gratification: Click to get a free gift from me that will lead you to what I think is the best new business opportunity.

So here are my 2 cents worth regarding business opportunities.

The word opportunity is in itself a positively loaded word that leads to think that you will experience success. So opportunity has something to do with your expectations. You expect to get something positive and the word opportunity implies that you can get your hands on that positive thing.

In connection with the word business, the implication becomes even more pronounced. You can expect to get something positive in a business sense, or in other words in a money sense. And that is exactly what the term business opportunity tries to imply: that you will gain financially and make money.

Why do you think, you would be offered a business opportunity, where you can make money? Ever thought about that? Probably, because someone else also has an interest in you jumping on that opportunity. Most likely you are offered a business opportunity because that person offering it to you will make money doing so, most likely off of you.

Per se, there is nothing negative to be said about this concept, if that person makes money and you can make money, that would be win – win. Both of you would walk away with a positive experience and hopefully a bit wealthier.

Have you ever looked at how many people are currently offering business opportunities? There are thousands! Litterally every online marketer and his son have a best new business opportunity that they can offer to you. And listening to these offers, they really sound quite enticing.

But, all the icing on the cake and all the sweet talk in the promotion in the end only try to sell you to a product that in most cases will not work as advertised. I know this is a pretty steep statement from me, but it is unfortunately true.

Most products out there try to sell some system and some marketing concept that should enable you to make money, but in the end you still wil need to implement all that is taught and promised yourself. And have you not tried that several times before and not managed?

My conclusion therefore is, that there is usually no such thing as a best new business opportunity. The best thing that can happen to you is that you ignore these opportunities that are constantly offered to you and start concentrating on one single way. One way that you feel comfortable going in your pathway to financial freedom marketing online.

And at this point the best way and the best method that describes in much detail and with a lot of dedication to provide value and trustworthy information stems from Chris Farrell. He has written an e-book and has allowed me to give it away for free on this website. It is offered as the free gift on the left of this post in the Cash-In knowledge menu pane.

Or simply click here to get your free gift and the best new business opportunity.

Targeted bulk traffic provider.

URL: click here to go to BetterVisitors

Pricing: on the more expensive side, but justified by the fact that the traffic is target to the extent that you can pick your traffic from a total of 170 categories.
Very inexpensive if compared to Google AdWords or Yahoo targeted traffic.

Ease of Use: login and statistics well organized and apparently accurate.

The main problem with these traffic generators is always the quality. Since you don’t exactly know where the traffic comes from or the exact mix between pop ups and unders and the like is not fully disclosed, there is now real way of telling how good the traffic is going to be.

In my experience, even with BetterVisitors, I got zero — READ AGAIN: ZERO — conversions. I have to assume therefore that the quality of even the so called better quality organizations is not good enough to work with successfully.

Now, there are also systems that rely on PPV (pay per view) traffic that claim to give instructions of exactly what you need to do to successfully get the right traffic and conversion rates that are at least as good as with PPC (pay per click).

One of those systems is: Mass PPV Traffic We are making a full review on a submenu to this page.

Ewen Chia Promotes His Multi Million Dollar System

The claims are:

  • can pile up automatic income by promoting other people’s products
  • you can make money online as easily as you make coffee in the morning
  • set things up once and get paid over and over again
  • It’s all about passive income.
  • The Simplest, Easiest, Fastest Proven Way To Automatic Income Every Single Month
  • My “secret weapon” is a simple system that I’ve painstakingly crafted to be hyper-effective.
  • Go through the step-by-step multimedia Secret Affiliate Weapon 2.0 course and begin applying the top secret techniques I reveal to you.
  • Watch the money quickly begin STREAMING into your accounts! Yes, many of these methods can be implemented FAST (as in hours, not days or months).

The Concept of Secret Affiliate Weapon 2

Chia sells his package called “Secret Affiliate Weapon 2.0 Passive Income Secrets”, a combination of e-books and videos presented on a website. This package consists of 4 modules with the subjects:

  • Choosing your business (“how to choose the business that fits you”)
The content is about how you find a business that fits you. It warns about the things not to do and the traps to avoid.
  • Profits without products talks about “how to make money while other people sweat”. It explains how to build up an affilate business that really works. Chia has a reputation as the worlds number 1 super affiliate. As he explains how he does it in this module, this could be the most important part of the entire package. He talks about how he changes the way he promotes ClickBank products and how he mulyplies the affiliate income by several thousand percent over the traditional method. One of the big issues in this module is the build up of a mailing list the value of which cannot be overestimated. Chia also walks through what he is doing on his own website, so the reader can copy him and duplicate his success.Obviously, if you have been in the scene for home based income streams, many of the concepts will not be entirely new to you. What makes the difference is the practical approach, that seems to make sense to me.
  • The power of a network explains “How To Profit When Other People Sell For You”. The aspect of network marketing and the power of multi levels are the subject of this module. Chia has developed his system and the many tweeks over years, in this module he gives step by step instructions on how to duplicate his results.
  • Now if Chia had not come up with module 4 as part of this package, I would have had trouble recommending the package: This module is about traffic. He realizes that most websites never get enough traffic and he demonstrates how to get as he calls it “avalanches of traffic”. His approach is practical and step by step. Things you thought you knew get thrown back at you with another twist that changes everything.

The package further contains:

  • - a series of how to videos, that – again – are practical and illustrate what you have to do.
  • - the “Secret Affiliate Weapon 1.0″. This Chia’s step-by-step system, his masterplan on how to become a super affiliate in any niche.

Chia’s modules are well written and motivate you to go through the process of planing your online business as if it was an offline business. He explains how important it is to not just build a perfect website but to actually get it out into the open and to attract an ever growing flow of targeted visitors that are willing to purchase and make your business grow, in a steady way with a view for the long term.

In my opinion, the information and the practical knowledge that can be copied step-by-step, make this package one of the tools an affiliate marketer will need. If you want to make money in this industry, you will need good and solid documentation and down to earth tools. Chia makes a difference. Click here to see his sales pitch and order.
